Unfortunately my lowest rating for sushi yet.
The rice was old. And certain ingredients were overwhelming the entire roll.
One of the chefs in the back was biting his nail for a good 10minutes which was quite off putting.
Service was decent not too bad but we come for the food and not the service.

Food was honestly so bad. Fish was not fresh.
Service was also terrible. They were out of everything. They told us no water without gas. We asked for cokes, the guy came back with one coke and one Coke Zero, said they didn’t have any more….then twice during our meal they had us move our table to reach under the booth where they had items in storage and pulled out…you guessed it regular cokes, and regular water for other tables. Food looks good but is NOT. Beware

This place was such a disappointment. The fried rice, sushi, and shrimp tempura were all nasty. The fish tasted very fishy I’m surprised we didn’t get sick. The service was horrible the waiter was rude. The restaurant looks nice and all but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. 0/5 stars.

Solid Japanese casual spot. I had a really great miso soup and some simple tuna sushi. Would be great if they also had some ponzu sauce and more items on menu that didn’t have cream cheese. I am so over the cream cheese trend in sushi. It’s so basic and stupid.

Attention tourists!!!! You can choose an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT option! But I’m not quite sure if there’s it on the English menu, so don’t miss that out.
Botekim is far from traditional Japanese food, it definitely has some very Brazilian “improvements”, but you know what? It’s really honest and tasty food. It’s not cheap, but neither it’s expensive, for the amount of food you can eat and the quality of it, it worth the money.
I wouldn’t say it’s like going to McDonald’s, but somehow it’s like a Japanese junkie food, in a good way, that you feel satisfied after eating it, but with some kind of guilt on feeling pleasure with it.
