Hello! This restaurant might not be anywhere near my usual city but I’m currently here in Daytona and i wanted to get some food and ended up here.
Let me be honest, the food is great, the employees are nice and the place is clean. But I had some issues, for starters the place is very small. Having to shuffle sideways type of small, too many tables for such a small area but I guess that’s allowable. Second, the wait time is ridiculously long. I ordered two waters and two smoothies(yes i am with family), you’d think it would take maybe 5 minutes or so considering the fact there was only two other smaller groups of people. No, it took over 5 minutes for the water and nearing 10 more for the smoothies. And don’t get me started on the food wait time. But to finish off, there is a nice menu and the fries are really good. I’d recommend for smaller groups like 2-4 and that you come much earlier than 2 pm because they were also out of a few food items.

This is a little hole in the wall that you may not even notice from the street it looks like a house almost. My wife and I went there for lunch and it was quite delicioso, I got classic pulled pork & black beans that were better than I’ve had anywhere else. The pupusas were also quite good and larger than I’ve had at other places. And the enchiladas were made with homemade thicker tortillas so that’s a nice touch. The enchiladas just came by themselves (4) with no rice and beans. It was a little difficult to order because of the language barrier so that’s my only caveat if you don’t speak Spanish.

What a find! I was not sure what I wanted for lunch. So after a quick search, this restaurant popped up and the decision was made. It was one of my smarter ones..lol
When you first walk in, your struck by the aroma and sight of serious cooking. And I was warmly welcomed and shown to my seat.
There are many options to choose from on the menu. All looking and sounding good, and for me, reasonably priced. I opted for the fully loaded steak burrito and fries. I was not disappointed. The burrito was huge and filling. They offered a house made sauce that was off the chain(they should bottle it)and complimented the meal beautifully.
I highly recommend this place if your looking to spend a quiet lunch or dinner in a small, quaint restaurant with exceptional food and service…

I was looking for a mom & pop shop nothing fancy (fancy restaurants tend to change authentic dish flavors) & we found it. Tiny location, decorations don’t match but the waiters/waitresses are very attentive & polite. The food was great, we ordered several dishes & weren’t disappointed….excellent central American food the flavors were wonderful, I highly recommend it.

On the back of the menu is a list of combination plates. I chose the two taco with two pupusas combo. It comes with a can drink and super filling. Of the tacos my favorite was the steak which was basically a really good, stuffed carne asada, and the pupusas were amazing. I went with the bean, cheese and pork blend for both but may do a simple bean and cheese next time because the beans were so good. My wife got the steak sandwich and it was also really good.

If you have ever been to an authentic Latin restaurant you know that the small, distressed looking ones are the best. Overlook the mismatched furniture and dated building and focus on what is important at a good restaurant, food and service. This place nails both. Three lovely Latin ladies were running this place, two in the kitchen and one on the floor. They were busy so I was not expecting the food to come out quickly, but it still came out in a reasonable amount of time. And when it did? Fantastic! The portions were ample for the price paid. It was fresh and hot. I highly recommend the fish tacos! I will definitely be back!!
