Nice neighborhood bar serving good drinks and pub style food. The food menu is limited somewhat but the taste and quality was very good. Happy hour went until 7 pm and they had live music on the weekend staring at 8 pm. Service was good but tight with the bartenders mixing drinks and serving the food from the kitchen. Lots of regular patrons present .

This is a hole in the wall kind of place that is well worth the visit! We are hoping to come back soon to try the brunch menu. This area of KY has a lot of music history and it certainly carries over into the establishment.

Good service and fries were amazing! But behind the counter there’s a sign that says something along the lines of “we don’t serve women”. left a bad taste in my mouth, don’t think it’s a suitable place for queer ppl to feel comfortable either :/

Great bar for local live music every night (especially the blues), including open mic Tuesdays. Almost all shows are free (generous tips much appreciated).
There’s a rich history and great story about the bar and building it’s in. Lots of cool photos of musicians plus Marilyn Monroe and other classic era celebrities).
The bar was full of friendly music lovers and bartender Kyle was awesome – made me feel right at home.
They have a patio and you can get food too. It’s also a short walk from Newport on the Levee.

Cozy local spot. Feels almost like a cabin, with lots of wood paneling. From the decor you’ll note that Reds fans are more than welcome.
If the flyers on the walls (and in the ladies restroom) are accurate, looks like they have live music every evening of the week (!) Note: I came in the daytime, so wasn’t able to benefit from that- maybe next time.
Service was friendly.
My overall take: Worth checking out. Not fancy and not a chain/franchise – pure local flavor, in the best way.

Great place, great people. Everyone seemed be enjoying their night. We had a very good time. The music was very very good, 2 men(Mark & Jeff?maybe) switched up signing and they Jammed! They played everything we ask them to. plus the other songs they played was stuff We liked as well as our request s. My Husband and I met My Aunt and My mother there, then My daughter joined us. We are all happy to have such a good night out.* Fun for all ages 30 – 70ish* Thanks Mansion Hill for having us we will be back soon.

Loved my visit to Mansion Hill Tavern! The place has such a cool, historic vibe — you can feel the charm the minute you walk in. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. Even though I didn’t catch a live band this time, the atmosphere alone was worth it. Definitely planning to come back soon to experience the music everyone talks about!

Wandered by early Saturday after and had a beer and talked to the owner and another bartender. Just some really good dudes! Found out there’s live blues there 6 days of the week, and we came back and jammed out to the Mojo Blues Cats. What an amazing place and amazing band! This is the perfect live music, dive bar that’s off the beaten path. This will be a regular stop for us when we’re in town! Love this place!
