I held a birthday party on the second floor and it was great! I could hook up my own music and play a slideshow on a big screen. The food was great, everyone loved the pub pretzels! The bartender was awesome too! Everyone had a great time.

Went last night after a hockey game with all the parents and the team. The bartender was amazing. It was so crowded but he took care of everyone by himself, serving drinks and food. Was a great night and the food was delicious! Highly recommend this spot

We stopped by in the early evening last Friday, the pub was pretty busy as expected, but we had a great time. The food has never disappointed, the atmosphere was lovely for the holidays, and our server Sara was super kind. She had her hands full serving the whole restaurant, but she still managed to check in when she could. She definitely deserves some recognition for holding the fort down, considering the crowd she was handling.

Our company holiday party at Sligo Pub in Media was a resounding success. The cozy atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food and drinks made for an unforgettable evening. The private room upstairs was the perfect set to allow us to celebrate the successes of our fabulous real estate agents. Our bartender Tim was great. His personality was appreciated by our guests and he felt like part of the event! We opted for the cocktail party menu, and it was PERFECT. Food was served hot and was available to our guests the whole night. Sligo Pub exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended for any gathering or night out. CG REALTY thanks you!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. The place was almost empty at the time, so it was very nice to have the place all to ourselves. Service was prompt and pleasant. The decor is very classy. Nice draught beer list, and great menu options for everyone. But if you’re here, you have to try the Irish food! We had the Guinness Beef Stew and the Fish and Chips. Both were outstanding. And to top it off, the bartender made a great half-and-half! Next time I’m in Media, this will be my choice for dinner or drinks!

multiple times this bar has been a bust, but my most recent time almost involved police because they gave a bum $5 to stand outside chain smoking newports in peoples face denying (well over 21) out of state ID. This was not 20 minutes after we have left sligos to go meet a friend down the street aswell. We had waited about 15 minutes to get our first round. He then decided to follow me down the street and try to fight me lmao. He followed us down to other bars and kept blowing cigarette in our face and spilling his coffee on us as we were actively waiting to go in somewhere else. When I threatened to tell Sligo staff he pushed me against a wall for the second time. This place honestly has just shown they can’t handle busy nights nor do they want the business, and I’m completely okay not giving it to them.

Nice Irish bar located on West Stste Street in Media Delaware County PA. Nice selection of beers. I got a Guinness my nephew got a IPA. I really enjoyed the Shepherds Pie. My nephew really liked his cheeseburger. Friendly atmosphere friendly staff friendly patrons. Enjoyed the company and good conversation with several people. We sat at the bar but there are tables and chairs also. Will stop in again on my next trip to Media.

The second floor space is the perfect spot for a private get together! Jennifer and the folks at Sligo were so accommodating and everyone enjoyed the food, drinks and space. The projector is also great for those sports fans looking to have a game on for the group.
