This place has such a warm, welcoming vibe—it truly felt like stepping into a movie scene. The staff, including the general manager, were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more memorable. The food was outstanding, especially the barbecue, which was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I was impressed to learn that they don’t use refrigerators—everything is prepared fresh daily, and you can really taste the difference. Portions are generous, easily enough to satisfy two people. Absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back!

It was our first time at Mission Bbq and what we noticed right away is that the folks are welcoming! They were very sweet to our toddlers which I can appreciate.
Ordering was simple. My husband got a brisket sandwich, I got the classic sausage sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw, and we ordered Mac and cheese for our littles.
The Mac and cheese was a hit with our kids and I enjoyed the flavor of my food. I’m from the south and while it didn’t taste like southern bbq—it satisfied my pregnancy craving for it.
My husband had many tough pieces of brisket which made his sandwich harder to chew. Otherwise, the experience was nice for him also.
The sweet tea wasn’t southern sweet. It tasted better with a splash of lemonade. Our littles loved the lemonade!
I don’t know that we would order the brisket again. Also, I wished they had potato salad. However, we would certainly come back for another visit.

Everything was great! The smoked steak was delicious and the jalapeño cheese sausage was delicious. The brisket and the turkey were moist and full of flavor. Great service!

This place was super packed and the food was delicious. All the different barbecue sauces you can put on your meat.Makes this really a spectacular experience. The baked beans are piping hot. The moist meat was I chose hit the spot. The half bird my pic picked looked great and tasted even better. The workers at this establishment had smiles and were very friendly. We will be back

We’ve been enjoying Mission for over a year now. As the daughter of a veteran, I love the military ties and support of Mission.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and up for a good conversation.
The moist brisket is amazing and hands down our favorite! All of the meat is good, but the brisket is to die for. I love that they have 6 different BBQ sauces from all over: St. Louis, Kansas City and more. Sweet, spicy, tangy, complex and simple!
My favorite side is the beans which have brisket in them and they are the perfect blend of flavors, not too sweet and not too tangy.

Thank you to all of the fabulous employees at Mission BBQ Colorado Springs!!! The food was delicious, service very quick (I was hangry), atmosphere was inviting. Then it was noon and the Star Spangled Banner played. The entire house immediately jumped to attention as we honored our Country. It was a very special moment. Especially thanks to Ken, Mellisa in the dining room (apologies if I have not remembered your name correctly) and JD. I’ll be dreaming about Mission BBQ until we can meet again. God bless you all.

Great food here, loved the broad variety of sauces that they have available and mixing and matching them to explore some flavors. All the staff was friendly, fast service and lots of parking. I enjoyed all the memorabilia throughout and it was inspiring. Definitely on my list of places to try again.

Super awesome staff. Possibly the nicest people I’ve encountered at a fast casual restaurant! We had the brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Both were good but the brisket was VERY good.. we also got collard greens, Mac n cheese, and fries! All very good as well. Everything is made in house! My favorite bbq was the Memphis style!

The whole crew was absolutely amazing. We were welcomed coming through the door. As a first time visitor we dined in. They explained the menu, offered samples and even after getting the food Ben brought some additional sauces and recommended pairings that were all amazing! Thanks to Ben and the crew for an amazing Colorado Springs welcome! We will definitely be back, it’s a new favorite!!
