What a nice little Asian restaurant. This unassuming little shop is making some phenomenal sushi, teriyaki, and Asian cuisine. The Walnut Shrimp has a nice sweet, buttery sauce with roasted walnuts over broccoli. All was fresh and freshly prepared with very pleasant service.

Just like the other reviews, don’t judge the outside. They serve really good sushi, I was very impressed. They also have big portions from the dinner menu. I’m glad that Richlands has its own Sushi place and we don’t have to drive to Jacksonville. As far as I know, they’re the only Japanese Restaurant that actually serves dinner bento boxes! We haven’t tried it yet, but it looks delicious. We will definitely back to try it. My husband ordered Chicken Katsu, it was a big portion and he enjoyed it. He also had Crab Rangoons & Egg Drop Soup. I ordered rainbow roll, yellow tail, ebi, and angel hair, it’s great! The flavor melts into your mouth. The restaurant is not that busy when we ate there around dinner time at 6 and it was very quiet which was great. We were able to enjoy our meals quietly and the service was awesome as well! I highly recommend the place if you want to get serviced really quick and you want to have a Japanese cuisine if you live around Richlands. Regardless, as I’ve stated before we will be back.

**Have come back a few times now since first review. Consistently impressed with the food quality and customer service! Glad to make this a staple date night dinner spot with my boyfriend!**
Waiter was very nice and friendly! The prices are super reasonable, and the lunch specials provide lots of bang for very little of your bucks. Wonderful food all around. My table had some of everything. The sushi was fantastic, hibachi was great, bento box superb.. Fresh and very tasty. So glad to have such a nice sushi spot in little ol’ Richlands! Will definitely be coming back.

The great reviews gave us the confidence to try this place, but I think where we messed up was trying non-sushi foods.. the sushi looked great, but I wanted pad thai. I asked for it spicy, they said its already spicy. Yall.. Ive never had more bland pad thai. Husband got the spicy mango chicken dish and it was bland too, which was a surprise. Our kids said their sushi was good, and the kids lo mein was fine. We will try again eventually, but definitely a let down today.

Let me start by saying I was skeptical going here a month ago because of how it looked. Today, I chose to come here because I was brave enough to give it a try, and let me tell you I regret making my assumption of this place the first time I passed by. Great example of “don’t judge a book by its cover”…
It’s a very good place to get sushi! You won’t regret it! Staff was very kind and attentive! Definitely coming again!
I assume the reason why it looks empty outside is because they get alot of calls for orders for pickup. While I was dining in, I realized quite a few came to pick up.
It’s definitely a must try place to come to!

So I wanted to scout around for a Sushi place, found this place 20 mins from home. The prices for the sushi are pretty good! But my first roll, the specialty “Dragon Roll” was VERY disappointing, as the filling was mostly cucumber and very little eel… All I tasted was cucumber, and at that point my intention was to rate 1 star.
We also got the Pad Thai Chicken which was pretty good, but suspiciously soft meat and overcooked noodles. Yet it was good, so I recommend you to try it if you like Pad Thai.
Then I had to try one of the cheap rolls “Philadelphia Roll” which is always a great choice for its price! Definitely more worth than some specialty rolls…..
“Crazy Roll” was really good! Try that one.
“Angel Hair Roll” was ok… Skipped the part it had crab.. Wish they would take it easy with the cucumber.
The unsweet tea was horrible, we returned it and had water.
No beer or wine drinks!
Place seemed clean and service by Nina was excellent, thank you.
Maaaybe could have rated 4 but since I still taste the cucumber in my mouth, its a 3.
I will come back! And order what I know is good 🙂

We went for dinner a few weeks ago. The food was just okay, nothing to rave about. The sauce for my tempura was cold, would have been much better warm. The rice was nice and sticky. The sushi bar definitely seemed busier than the dining room.
