We got grilled chicken- lacked a little bit of flavor, simple, but juicy. Decent portion size. The salad was fresh. Passionfruit lemonade wasn’t as cold as I’d like, but was good. Lots on the menu. Love the aloha feel!

Ahi tacos (2) were much larger than expected and fresh. BBQ chicken was juicy and had delicious flavor. Wait time was a little long but totally worth it! I also loved that a woman was running the grill! 🙂 Mad props….she was crushing it!

This food truck is the best. It hit the spot and was exactly what I was looking for after the shark snorkel we did. I don’t do shrimp and I think the shrimp trunk is overrated lol I joked with the guy here about it too! I really wanted a rice dish so I went with the Ono (one ? I like ono better) plate lunch and went with the recommendation of the garlic steak. I got the Thai tea, and 2 lemonades for my companions. In total with tip was 33$ – support local! ❤️

The Thai tea was really good – I am a Thai food snob and this was top tier man! Let’s get to the actual meal. The meal itself was much bigger than I was expecting and that’s awesome. More bang for your buck. The salad was good and fresh and the vinaigrette was well balanced. The rice was a bit dry for me but ok, but the steak was perfect. It could have been a bit more medium but it was VERY tender and juicy and had the right amount of garlic. I don’t always eat all of my meal but I finished ALL of the steak it was that good! Compliments to the chef lol

Def show them some love and try their food – shrimp is so yesterday

This Matcha blend didn’t taste anything like matcha, it was straight ice. This Thai ice tea they poured straight out of the Thai ice tea can that they sell in convenience stores which usually costs less than $2 and they charged us almost $6 for one drink. What disappointed me the most was the rice. In the beginning, I thought they just overcooked it but then I tried a tiny bit twice & it tasted so bad and I’m pretty sure the rice was old. Please save your money and go somewhere else or they gotta read the reviews and improve themselves bc they just robbing ppl if they serve us old food.

I wanted a sandwich but they were apparently out of ingredients that day, so I ordered tacos. They were terrible – zero flavor or seasoning, and just slapped with some cheese and a tiny bit of sour cream. The beans and rice also had zero flavor. My only option for salsa or dressing was sitting in the sun all day – no thanks. The tacos and a quesadilla for my daughter took 30 minutes to make – the other 6 people in my party were done eating well before I got my food. Don’t waste your money.

Wonderful people. Beautiful day out and they were playing Hawaiian music; nice atmosphere. Near the North shore.

Saved the best for last… Kahlua Pork Quesadillas were AMAZING!

Well done!

Get the kalua pork sliders with a lava flow smoothie!! We always get bbq/shoyu/Teri chicken anywhere so had to get the bbq chicken. It was a ton of chicken – bone and skin on thighs. Just a good grilled chicken, no bbq sauce and didn’t have a chicken-y taste. We also got kalua pork sliders, which were super good! Not typical kalua pork with a lot of fat and cabbage, it had I think soy sauce. We were going to get drinks at another truck, but everyone was getting the lava flow smoothie so we had to try it too, just look at it! It did NOT disappoint! So good. I’d come back just for it. I wouldn’t call it an actual smoothie, but have no idea what else you’d call it! The milk tea boba was good too, it had a swirl of sweetened condensed milk in the cup which was different! Parking wasn’t bad. $2 to park, which is worth it.

Great food -extremely SLOW service! Over 40 minutes for the pork quesadilla. Wanted nachos but they were out of ingredients. Wanted the highlighted Tea again out of ingredients. Very slow service! I know it’s cook to order but good heavens – doesn’t need to be that slow

I highly recommend that you take your money elsewhere. The food is not good to begin with. Lacks flavor as well at over 20-30 minute wait AFTER you order. Today 8/20/23. I found a roach in my rice. I politely went up to the cook rather than the window not to cause a scene and be “that guy.” The cashier came over and issued a refund and told me that I’d get a new plate of food. To be nice I left a 9 dollar tip. Waited for 20 ish minutes and no food. Once the line completely went through I ordered a drink (jamba juice is better) and asked about the status of my meal and the lady told me that they didn’t even cook it yet. To make things worst they still continued to serve the same batch of rice. So I took my drink and left. Please take money elsewhere, you work hard for your money and it deserves to be well spent. Great lil grill with a ton of options. The pork sliders and pork Quesadilla were delicious. Nachos were decent but it says steak nachos and I got ground beef instead. Still tasted good though. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures but good portions. Next time I’m ordering the cheeseburger. I saw someone eating it and it is a fairly thick smash style burger on four Hawaiian rolls.
