Just got an Oreo blizzard with extra Oreo and there was no extra Oreo, and the bottom half was just the vanilla ice cream. This is why I hate going to Dairy Queen and go maybe once a year, the same every time.. ridiculous price and not made the right way. Of course we went through the drive through and you get screwed!

Need to start mixing their blizzards so they can actually put the right amount of ingredients in. For example a Mint Oreo blizzard should have mint ice cream not vanilla and for $6 more than 3 pieces of Oreo…especially if I have to mix it myself.

I have been here a few times, since it’s close to my house. I usually order a Blizzard. They are never fully blended! Maybe only 1/3 of the way down, then the rest is just ice cream. Last time, I ordered an Orange Julius. It was a thin (watery?) vanilla milkshake with maybe a hint of orange. They also have an attitude about the punch cards for a free Blizzard – they don’t want to punch it, they don’t want to give you the free Blizzard, they don’t want to give you a new card. I’m done with this place. Go to Biggie’s. Go to Charlotte’s. Go to Jo Jo’s. Better quality, better experience, and you’re supporting local business.

Edit to Update 3 years Later: We stopped buying ice here because every other bag had black chunks of mold in the ice. We would go back and tell them and they’d give us another bag of ice, but I was more concerned about the health issues of using ice from a moldy machine. We bought a countertop ice maker instead and I clean it regularly. It’s been 3 few years now so I hope they don’t still have that issue with their ice. We still go for Blizzards once in a while, and the staff are still awesome!

I love that this location sells bags of that “good” ice (soft nugget ice), and they keep the ice machine super clean. My husband stops by at least 2-3 times a week to pick up a bag of ice for the freezer. We use it for everything – drinks, smoothies, iced coffee, and more – even in the Winter we like our drinks ice cold! The hard-working employees are always so nice; even when the line is wrapped around the building they are awesome! I also greatly appreciate and support this location for its contributions to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital!

Normally I’m a pretty patient person. I placed 2 online orders for custom cakes a few days ago and then was contacted by the manager who proceeded to tell me that my images weren’t approved. I was understanding and came in and worked with a team member to pick out designs that were approved by Dairy Queen. One of the orders was set to be picked up today 11/1/2023 at 3PM. At 3:20 I called the restaurant to see if it was ready since I hadn’t heard from them. They proceeded to tell me they didn’t have any orders under my name. THEN, found my order forms that their employees just placed somewhere they didn’t belong. I was pretty aggravated but the employee on the phone was nice and respectful and told me she could have it ready for me within an hour. Sure it’s not what I wanted but it’s better than nothing I thought! 7PM rolls around and I still heard not a single word about my order. Needless to say I called the corporate number and had them send my complaint to the franchise owner. If you’re planning on getting a cake online I recommend ***NOT*** using this DQ because this has been absolutely ridiculous.
