I have eaten at every single Pho place in Richmond VA (There are around 21) This has to be one of the best in Richmond if not the best for Vegetarian options. I’ve eaten here 20+ times and Hung and his family are some of the nicest people I have met. The food is always delicious and tastes so fresh. The prices are super fair for the quality and portions you get. They even have great lunch specials that are amazingly delicious. If you have time I promise you wont be disappointed if you stop by Viet Garden, but be careful you might end up like me and not be able to stop going back for more.

The food was so delicious. The service was really good also. Very good ratio and design of the place very nice. I like the vibe. Very calm and very underrated. Everyone should who about this restaurant and I’m going to tell everyone i know about it. I really recommend coming here and I enjoyed watching Wheel of fortune. I really love it. And I will come again. And I noticed they have a full service bar. I don’t drink but it was really cool. I think these guys deserve more. Please come and enjoy.

My go to Vietnamese restaurant was closed so based on the reviews, I tried this one out. While the service was excellent, the food was not as good. I liked the veggies in the vegetable Pho but the broth was lacking flavor. The egg rolls and spring rolls were overcooked and it tasted like the grease was stale. The broken rice dish had a lot of rice but not too much meat. Overall, I won’t be returning.

Ordered the tofu basil rice with vegan tofu pho. The rice dish I gotta say was very good. The sauce was very flavorful and the tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which is how I like it. The vegan soup is surprisingly good. Most vegan soups I try are very blend and taste like water. This is one was one of the best I have tried and that says a lot since I am not vegan. Place was very clean and staff was very friendly. They have been open only a month and doing a great job. The prices were really good, most pho places in atlanta your looking at about 16 bucks a person. Here lunch only cost me 24 bucks for 2 with appetizers. Must try vietnamese spot.

one short visit, and loved it. the place was empty, and we were only 4, so we got special attention, but it seems that they are very friendly as is.
the food is great – recommend the soup.
as a desert we tried the Ying-Yang and it was good – though the chocolate syrup was a fake one, and that was a bit disappointing.

Fantastic spot, great selection of Vietnamese food. Had the pho and the summer roll, very yummy. Very friendly and attentive staff too.
Definitely check this place out if you’re on a road trip, way better than fast food. This would be my go to place for pho if I were a local!
