I was on a cross country trip and stayed in Las Vegas for a night and went out searching for authentic New Mexican food and was recommended this place. The gentleman who took my order was so friendly and the food was amazing . I recommend them to anyone stopping by this lovely town.

Food is bland and server never smiled. It felt like the only spice used was salt.
You know good food is made with love, but we did’t feel it here.
We dinned here in late Dec 2025.

In a small town like Vegas, especially after COVID, it’s a bonafide rarity for a restaurant to have decent hours serving hot delicious food on a Sunday afternoon. That’s what got my attention, I was Googling looking for something not fast food on a Sunday and found this place.

I’ve had the stuffed sopapilla and the frito pie with extra onions. The red chile on both of them was nicely seasoned and cooked. The only feedback I have is for the stuffed sopapilla, it wasn’t fluffy as described on the menu and reminded me of a Navajo taco. Fortunately, it was a nice flavorful concoction.

The customer service is also worth giving a shoutout. The ladies were polite over the phone and when I picked up my order. Consistent customer service is also another rare gem and it goes perfectly with their food, that reminds me of grandmas Sunday cooking.

Really enjoyed the taco plate. I wish they had a taco combo plate but.. I get it.
Everybody was friendly and service was fantastic. It’s awesome to have another great restaurant to visit in Las Vegas. Please support our local restaurants before the all disappear.

When everyplace was busy on Labor day weekend we walked right in. Not a huge menu but decent. Family run. Closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Attentive staff with good food AND very reasonable price wise. Seating for only about 12 tho.

My wife and I ate here on Saturday morning. It was perfect. The chef/owner took very good care of us. I enjoyed the breakfast bowl with red chile and my wife had a smothered burrito. I really liked the fried tortilla bowl. The restaurant was clean, and they made us feel like we were eating as guests in their home. We will definitely eat there again when we are in the area.

So glad we stopped in to try this new place in Las Vegas. My sister and I came from Denver where there are very few decent New Mexican restaurants and she was wanting a taste of home cooking before heading back to North Carolina.

We both had the breakfast bowl with fresh pintos, papitas, eggs, cheese, chile, and bacon. We had ours smothered Christmas (translation: red and green chile). Both chiles were so amazingly tasty but the red far outshined the green!
The owners were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. It’s situated across the street from a small park in the plaza so you can eat in or enjoy your meal while on a park bench. Plenty of parking is available.
They are currently only taking cash as payment so make sure you’re prepared but the prices are very reasonable.
If you’re looking for an authentic, home cooked New Mexican meal, then put this place on your list.

Don’t bother. It’s horrible bland disgusting & dirty & they have no bathroom. As a native northern New Mexican it was not New Mexican food. The chile was disgusting. The green chile was flour paste basically. The only thing good was the salsa. There’s only 4 tables in the hole in the wall place. 2 four tops & 2 two tops. They should at least put another table in the middle. The little nook in the front that housed the high chairs was so gross & disgusting I hope the kitchen doesn’t look like that. The waitress only had 4 tables to maintain & she couldn’t even get our order right. The table next to us they burned her burger bun she was trying to scrape the char off. The other table left most of their food & now we know why. The beans seemed bottom of the pot & were so bland & dry. I can’t believe this place is still in business. We were just passing through trying to get a bite to eat. They gave you a small plastic cup for the coke for dine in eating which probably wouldn’t even be a full can & they had the nerve to give you plastic wear to eat your dine in meal. The restaurant is a joke & needs major improvement. Do yourself a favor & go somewhere else.

Sat. 2/7 Given the Reviews saying there were problems with their keeping reliable hours. I called them twice and got Voicemail twice. They did not respond to a Text.
I ate elsewhere.

I appreciate the people and food. But unfortunately they are never open I’ve been calling the past 3 days and no answer despite theyre business hours say they are open. Great food but if you say your open then open up. I’ve had to give my money to other businesses I didn’t want to because of this.
