First visit did not disappoint. Highly recommend. We had asada chimichanga and asada tacos Mexican style. Very affordable and friendly staff. Also have a great selection of products to go. Will be back!

Sopas. Not a mound of cornmeal mix. More of a saucer shape with crispy edges and softer two’s the center of the bowl shape. First made this way usually its a pancake with a slight mounded shape and very soft. Still very good
Pork marinated almost dry but not. Some would say perfect. I prefer grease
The homemade salsa for the chips if dining in was unfortunately the best iv ever had of the 1000 iv had. Just to far from home to eat regually. A+
Said there prices change very frqent.
Prices about 20% higher than previous pictures/posts.
Highly recommend.
Ps. They also sell fresh rinds

This place is indeed authentic. The food and service are excellent. Food had good flavor, the guacamole, maybe a little more salt but overall, it was pretty good. Our server was very courteous and polite . I will definitely go back next time I find myself in Green Bay.

Their carnitas are awesome and you get plenty for your money. Their tortas are probably my favorite menu item. They do them better than most places in town. I’m also a big fan of their tacos dorados. Little deep fried tacos filled with potatoes and chorizo that are simply heavenly. On Wednesdays, they serve up the best chicharrones (Mexican style pork rinds/deep fried pork belly) in town. Besides this, their staff (especially the owners) are kind, friendly, and generous people who make every visit fantastic. They are a shining cornerstone of local authentic Mexican cuisine and we are lucky to share our city with them.

Amazing flavor in all of their dishes!! The verde and roja sauces are AMAZING! My husband has been looking for a restaurant that serves an entire fish and El Bajio did not disappoint!! The staff is insanely friendly and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the food you order is to your linking. They are especially considerate of food allergies. I need to eat GF (gluten-free) and had a taco with a homemade corn tortillas and it tasted SO good I was sure there was flour in it. I asked the wait staff who asked the cook who wasn’t sure…so they CALLED the women who produces them just to check! And low and behold, they were GF!! So amazing! ☺️☺️☺️

Wow. This place is amazing. My man had two tacos and couldn’t stop raving about them… As in the best taco he’s ever had! I had the chicken flautas and they were seasoned perfectly, lightly fried, and not greasy at all. I am sorry I didn’t catch our waiters name, because he was friendly and attentive. This is a family owned business and it’s obvious to us that everyone takes pride in their service. We will be back… Maybe even tomorrow.
