WOW! SUPER IMPRESSED!
We visited this location several times when it was “Local Flavor”. Interestingly, I had the same meal at the Feed Lot that I had last time at Local Flavor. It was good when it was Local Flavor, but it is GREAT now!
My wife ordered a burger and fries, and I ordered chicken fried chicken with okra and mashed potatoes.
The chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were almost like “smashed” potatoes, and the okra was clearly hand breaded homemade okra. The fries are hand-cut and the burger was juicy and delicious. My wife and I decided to share, and she ate most of my okra…the okra is just incredibly good. We had peach cheesecake and millionaires pie for dessert and although those weren’t made in-house, they were both good as well. (I suspect the desserts are still made by the same people who made them for Local Flavor.)
The service was fair, but their servers need to consider wearing more appropriate clothes. (this is what I edited out)

When I say this is the best breakfast I’ve ever had, from a restaurant, in 35 years; I mean it!!
They call it Cowboy eggs, I call it eggs in a basket!! Regardless of the name it taste like it was made fresh out of Momma’s kitchen. The eggs were perfect, the ham was perfect and the crispy hash browns.
My Dad had the Ranch Hand minus green peppers. He said it was a pretty good breakfast!! Better than most places. Now he isn’t much for words. But I’ll tell ya, he made a happy plate and didn’t complain a bit!!
Jesus take the wheel!!! I think I said, this is delicious so many times I’m pretty positive that my Dad started saying, “We get it you like your breakfast.” Haha!!
I don’t know where you’re eating breakfast but if there’s ever a millisecond that you’re thinking about going to get breakfast from a restaurant you’d better do yourself a favor and go on down to the Feedlot in Haskell! You won’t regret it.

Ate here when it was Local Flavor, and it was great. Food was really good, hot, lots of flavor. The service, she was younger, and probably just not much experience, she often forgot us.
Love the decor and atmosphere.
Have not ate here since the owner change, will have to stop and try it out.

Food tastes good – staff is fairly helpful. Prices leave much to desire. Only place I’ve known to charge $3 for getting your food “to go”. Terrible customer loyalty in the sense that they do not care about your experience. The staff might but the owners clearly don’t. $3 for to go orders – ridiculous. Just gives me incentive to call sunrise or el jalepeno instead when I’m working an 8 hour shift. I was ordering the catfish regularly – won’t be doing that anymore.

I had the pork chops and I habe to say this is as tender and juicy as a filot mignon. Incredibly seasoned. If you haven’t eaten here you must! My husband had the catfish and it was beautifully crusted and also seasoned to perfection. My son had the chicken bites and his comment is, this cook should be in a 5 star restaurant. Thank you for a mouth full of flavor

The service was great! Best mashed potatoes and gravy I’ve ever had. And one of the best chicken fried steaks I’ve had. Their burgers, catfish and calf fries are all really good too

Great food and homemade!!!! We tried the fried green tomatoes and catfish and calf fries and all have been awesome. Only our second time to go. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Food was alright. Good service. Prices lil high for what you’re getting. Food comes out on baking sheet and not even a plate. So you get the nail on chalkboard feeling when cutting Food.
