Everything was great we had the molcajete it was more than enough for me and my wife. We also tried their shrimp cocktail on their new seafood menu . The place next door had a perfect variety of desserts for after we’ll be back for sure.

The ambiance is nice. We were surprised to see staff just sitting, laughing and giggling with who we are guessing is the manager who was sitting in the corner, close to the register and on her tablet. The bottles of hot sauce were sticky and if the staff could be more mindful of the cleanliness then we wouldn’t have to write about it. We understand to have fun in your job, but it seemed they were more focused on socializing then ensuring customers were cared for and ensuring areas were cleaned. Our waitress was very nice, but her attentiveness was lacking, she survived us our food and then we did not see her for the rest of our meal, no refills on drinks or water, did not come back to asked if there was anything we needed, and I don’t think she ensure our order was correct before bringing it to us because I asked for no cheese in my food and there was a good amounts of cheese. I was not able to ask for a new order because she never came back. So I ended up deconstructing my food to get the cheese out. There was a big party that came in and we thought she was helping with that table, but that table had another waitress and our waitress was not to be found. I ordered the Milanesa torta, the meat was really dry, tough and tasted old, as if they fried it in old oil. The beans in the torta was flavorless. My husband had the enchilada plate (his go to item at any Mexican restaurant, his favorite) and unfortunately it did not sit well in his stomach. I am sad that this restaurant was a disappointment and underwhelming, we really had high hopes for this place especially because we do not have a lot of variety in the area. Hopefully with time maybe thing will improve. But as of now we will not be coming back.

I’m VERY impressed! Michelada was delicious, horchata was great. I ordered the 3 taco plate with chicken, asada, and al pastor. The chicken was OK but other two were yummy. We also ordered an adult quesadilla which was made with a corn tortilla and fried. It was different but very good! Salsa for sure could be better, definitely store bought. Service was great! Over all very happy and excited for this new spot! We will be back!

Unfortunately, the food here is not impressive and very bland. Here’s the lowdown:
– The chips n salsa were good. Chips needed more salt, but good.
– The flautas looked to be store bought and had no flavor.
– The rice was bland and tasteless.
– The beans were good.
– The carne asada was dry and tough.
– The birreia quesadilla was dry and the meat was tough as well. Likewise, it doesn’t come with the consume..that is $2-$3 extra…really?!
Also, no soda fountain machine. Only soda by the can or bottle. Hence no refills.
The decor and seating is very nice.
When the waitress asked how our food was, I was honest and said very bland. I asked if the flautas were store-bought because they looked and tasted like that… they actually looked like taquitos.
The waitress did not know it they were handmade and had to go ask the cook. She came back and said they were handmade…. I highly doubt it.
A few minutes later the manager/lead came to the table and asked if there was a problem. I told her not a problem, just that the food was very bland and the flautas tasted store-bought. She took offense to what I said and told us that all the food is prepared there…AND told me that she was so suprised to hear what I thought of the food AND that I was the first complaint they received… doubtful after reading the reviews here.
Just to be clear, we didnt complain about the food. They asked how it was, and we were honest with what we thought about it.
It’s a new restaurant, so hopefully they can improve and begin making more authentic, good tasting Mexican food.

Never been here before, they opened a week ago. The visit started out really good, promising ☺️ the servers were kind but service was understaffed. It took upwards of 40-ish minutes for my table to get their food and about an hour for me to get my food. Orders got mixed up for more than my table and poor waitresses were practically running around trying to get peoples orders and serve tables but there was a table I noticed that didn’t get menus for about the 40-ish minutes that we waited for the food to come to our table. The food was not bad but not great, it was bland for Mexican food. If you want Mexican food that isn’t spicy this would be good. I’m not sure if things were freshly made, didn’t seem like it though . The bathrooms were relatively decent/ clean. For a while it seemed like the takeout orders were given priority over in-house orders and maybe that is why it took long for us to get our food

We had a great experience here today. The photo shows my 3 chicken enchilada plate. It comes with beans and rice with guacamole. There’s a choice of red or green sauce. I chose green. It was delicious. Quite the generous meal for only $14.75.
Also included are unlimited chips and salsa.
The waitress was attentive, cordial and well spoken.
The atmosphere is fresh and clean including the restroom.
I’m not sure why so many negative reviews! C’mon people. You swear you’re Gordon Ramsey! It sounds as though some people just have a chip on their shoulder.
If you came here before and didn’t like it, try it again. It’s such a new restaurant. Maybe they just needed to get the kinks out.
If you haven’t been here, come! It’s good.

I don’t get the low rating at this point. My first visit here and the food is excellent and competitively priced. The waitress and manager both came over to wait on me. My fave is the shredded beef tostada so far. It’s a real good value. Huge. Meat wise the carnitas taco tasted so good. The carne asada taco is delicious as well. Absolutely will be back and can strongly recommend this place. Sorry I ate half of it before I took the pics. Nice mountain views too.

The music was loud the waitress I guess the cook / manager was having a conversation and I had to request a cup of ice that I was waiting for. They never came back to check on us to see if there’s anything we need or to ask how was anything and when she did we’re done and I told her that my Carne Asada was dry. The meat was burnt And she frowned up and walked away and I guess it’s a Manager said we’ll go ask if they would like anything else that took her a few minutes cause she went to the other table 1st so we weren’t really a priority but it came to Customer Service.
The customer service was horrible. Whoever the guy was cooking the food he had no gloves on they would mess with stuff and go back there and cook the food. They spent more time socializing than chatting to the customer service. This was our second time and our last time.

This place is well worth your patronage. Came here for lunch looking for a new Mexican restaurant in the area since Lucy’s left and was not disappointed! It has a nice vibe to it and nice booths and tables to sit down and have someone take your order. Chips and Salsa were provided. Salsa was ok, a bit on the bland side and watery, but not bad. The service was excellent and we got our food quickly. The Chili Relleno was on point, beans had a good flavor, but the rice was just meh. I know it’s hard to do rice right, but again, it was just ok. My cousin had a burrito and it was huge! She said it had a distinct flavor and overall she enjoyed it. They have bottled or can sodas, so fountain drinks, but it was a great experience and definitely will be back to try their tacos and other items on the menu. It is just nice to have a new sit-down Mexican restaurant in the area. It is kind of pricey, but where is it not with this economy?
UPDATE: Came here again and I rather not go to a restaurant to watch politics. They had on FOX News and seeing this programming in a Mexican restaurant seemed very odd to me. Consider playing something else, anything else other than any news programming. Chili verde was good and everyone in our party enjoyed their food
