This place is pretty awesome! The atmosphere is very pretty and fun! The staff here was very nice and was on the ball with keeping our drinks topped off and making sure we had everything we needed. Food was EXCELLENT!! The prices were right in line as well. I will definitely be back. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a while!!

Food is okay, and slightly below average for the area. Chicken Parm looked and tasted like chicken strips cut in slices with an unmelted piece of cheese on top with a thick red sauce. It was served over fettuccine noodles with white Alfredo sauce that tasted like it was from a jar. Waitress was nice but very slow. Restaurant was almost empty with most people sitting at or near the bar. Prices were reasonable and lower than many in the area.
Come to Molitors for the Haunted Hay Ride (5 stars and best in Central MN) or events, but don’t plan to stay for the food.

My first time here I arrived an hour and a half before closing on a Tuesday. They seemed to be short handed. Service was a little slow but otherwise the wait staff was pleasant and professional.
I ordered the fish tacos with a side of sweet potato waffle fries. The fish tacos had fried fish, Cole slaw and a sauce. They were ok. The fish were a little on the dry side and it would have been nice if extra sauce for dipping was included. The sweet potato fries were also ok. They came with a cinnamon apple sour cream or cream cheese (I wasn’t sure) dipping sauce which was quite good and unique! I always eat my fries with BBQ sauce and asked for some. The BBQ sauce was deliciously Smokey.
The restaurant itself was decorated for the holiday. The bathroom was spacious, clean and updated. The only thing I really didn’t like was that the parking lot was so dark. I don’t know if it is always like that or if it is kept dark during their haunted acres event.
I would come back but probably when it’s lighter outside.

I don’t often leave reviews, but after our experience last night, I feel compelled to share our very frustrating experience. My 24-year-old daughter was denied service because the manager, who was also the bartender, insisted her ID was fake. It is a legitimate, government-issued ID from the Lakeville, MN DMV—which prints IDs the same day. These IDs have a slightly different color tone, which is likely what caused the confusion. I politely tried to explain this, but the manager dismissed me and said she had “never heard of a DMV printing IDs same day.” To make matters worse, two younger customers who witnessed the situation approached us afterward and said, “Wow, that was really unfortunate… especially since we both just got served with fake IDs.” The manager claimed she “knew exactly what to look for” when spotting fakes, but clearly, that wasn’t the case. And clearly, we won’t be returning.

Phenomenal service excellent food love this place the staff is on point busting their butts and deserve every dollar tip they get. I Stopped in on mothers day and they had a beautiful spread and variety for the buffet special. No complaints nice seating as always and very clean environment. if this place had 100 more tables they would be full. literally worth the wait. Family owned and very friendly staff

Ellie F was an awesome waitress! Super friendly, attentive and on the ball. My husband and I walked over to check out the trout while she was grabbing me a drink and I totally didn’t expect her to at all, but she brought my drink down to me! What a sweetie! It’s great to see young people with wonderful customer service like Ellie. I hope that she is our server next time we go there. Great job, Girl!!

The food wasnt very good. Mine tasted terrible enough I ate half of it and then just let them take the rest. The service was really nice and the atmosphere was cool. They also usually have a haunted hayride here during October which is a blast. For eating id suggest trying another place but for fun or just atmosphere its a great place to check out.

LOVE the crew at Molitor’s! Most people just know it for the Haunted Acres experience, but it is one of the best places to grab dinner and a drink year round! The staff are total rockstars, the food is always flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the vibes always pass the vibe check. Molitor’s should be a must-visit for everyone!
