I think this was my second time dining here, but Shish Kabob Express hasn’t disappointed me yet. It has a fairly basic but comfortable interior, and the staff is professional. Service seemed quick, and the food was quite good. I got the vegetarian combo, and it came with a lot of different items. The quality seemed decent, and the quantity was high. I ended up getting a second meal out of it. It’s a great option for meals.

This place has the perfect combination of easily accessible, quick service, affordable, solid/large portions + the food actually being delicious. I love coming here before/after the gym for healthy fuel, and even between running my errands because I’m always getting my nails done or shopping on the hill where it’s located. Moe is the best – cool guy who is not with the bs and he’s always so friendly accommodating. Sam is great too!!! He is super friendly and always helps me pick out what I wanna order whenever I am being indecisive which is usually the case. He was so cool and hooked me up with the garlic!!!!! I love their chicken kabob, that’s mainly what I get. And live for their lentil soup, it’s thick and not overly oily and doesn’t give me heartburn like others lol. Also I love that they have sweet potatoes now. Anyway it’s my fav place to get a quick BIG delicious bite to eat.

The food is here is moderately priced, I got a combo meal for 13 bucks that included a drink, sandwich, and salad. Considering I wasn’t familiar with the restaurant, I asked the clerk what the best sandwich is, he said the Chicken Shawarma was highly recommended so I went with it.
To summarize, it wasn’t good. It was slightly below average.
Salad was good but for dine-in I shouldn’t have to mix the dressing with the salad.
Pop was mostly flat but was serviceable.
The service needs some improvement, the clerk didn’t seem like he wanted to be there and it rubbed off in his interaction.
For Lebanese food, it could’ve been far better as compared to Dearborn standards.

Wonderful middle eastern cuisine. Expertly executed. It’s not in Dearborn but it’s better than Dearborn. Give them a try, you will be pleased. Exceptional food. Lentil soup is the best I’ve had, with tge exception of my own homemade. The garlic sauce is superb too. Interior is clean, but rather modest & cafeteria-ish. I usually get a carry-out due to this fact. Owner is friendly. Overall a good experience, worth the price.

That a place that makes food this quickly, not fast-food but but actual food made fast, can make it this good should be a shot across the bow of all the burger joints, etc., that look more like industrial production & consumption facilities than actual restaurants.
I can get just as much to eat, for the same price and eat much more flavorful and healthy offerings as well as a wider selection.
And the environment is nicer, too. People having conversations, telling jokes, actually enjoying themselves. Love it.
Today I tried a chicken Ghallaba sandwich with a spinach salad side & a drink for $13. Comes with a fresh pita as well.
Even better, I found they have one near my home. Score!

Yo if you’re saying this you just need to go ahead and stop in this place. The Shish Kabob is so good, I order a duo combo with a lamb sandwich and let me just tell you that is definitely some of the best lamb I’ve ever had very delicious perfectly cooked so tender it was falling apart in my mouth before I could even chew it. Very good authentic flavor unlike a lot of restaurants that want to cut quality. Also did I mention that my combo included drink, pita bread, lamb sandwich and hummus was only $9 also including my tip. If you like Mediterranean cuisine then do yourself a favor and give this place a try.
