I’ve tried to give them many chances. I think it’s the chef. The instagram photos look appealing, but the food does not taste as appealing nor match the photos. The salmon hibachi I ordered tonight, I think I got played. It was over seasoned (as always) and barely any salmon in it at all. I feel like I got salmon fried rice instead of salmon hibachi. I ordered through Uber Eats. I took pictures. I wasted $29. Not a happy customer. Not messing with them anymore. That was the last straw for me. They need a new chef. Or get rid of the one who overseasons the food and holds back on the meat. Today is September 18th, 2025. It is after 10pm. I want to keep supporting because it’s black owned. But I can not keep wasting my money on overseasoned food. Entirely too salty. Or too overseasoned. And no salmon. Just a few salmon bits here and there. So unfair. Feels like a rip off. I’m over it. I can’t keep supporting that bullcrap. No way.

I’m so disappointed in myself for always giving food places the benefit of the doubt. First time ordering from here and it’s SALTY! Unbearable saltiness. I order the chicken hibachi through DoorDash. The rice taste and look like Rice a Roni. This chicken doesn’t have any flavor but the rice is a pound of SALT. Whatever this sauce is they need to get rid of immediately. I thought it came with garlic butter. It don’t even matter because I can’t even eat it do to the unbearable saltiness. What a waste!

I’m leaving three stars, though honestly my first instinct was one. To be fair, taste is subjective and maybe this just didn’t line up with mine and my lady’s palate.
We ordered through Uber Eats, and I’ll start with the positives the food arrived very hot and the portions were generous for the price. That part was spot on.
The corned beef and cabbage egg rolls served with some sort of sweet sauce, however, threw me off. The main seasoning seemed to be cinnamon so much so that it felt more like a dessert experiment than a savory dish. Neither of us could finish one. The turkey chops were tender but under-seasoned I think they’d really be smothered. The string beans were just okay. And the yams, surprisingly, had the opposite problem of the egg rolls missing cinnamon and sweetness, and leaning heavily on butter instead.
Overall, everything looked and arrived great, but the flavors didn’t land for us and left our stomachs experiencing turbulence. I probably wouldn’t order again, if you enjoy food with a plot twist this might be your thing.

If you haven’t tried this place out yet. I highly recommend it. The food is delicious. The customer service is on point. The prices are affordable. Honest wait times. The portion sizes are great. And best of all, It’s black owned. What’s not to like? So far I’ve had the sesame chicken, The hamburger on Texas toast, and the cabbage egg roll, and I have yet to be disappointed. Asian cuisine, American cuisine and soul food. You’ll definitely find something you like. I’m going back to try the soul food next.
