If you’re looking for the best halal “fast food” spot, Halal Grill Eats is hands down my favorite! Everything about this place is a 5/5.
The food is absolutely delicious! Flavor is a solid 5/5, presentation is a 5/5, and the portions are generous (definitely a 5/5). You truly get a lot of food for your money. The salad is made with fresh vegetables and seasoned perfectly. The fries are crispy and so tasty. The white sauce is fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced, and the hot sauce has the perfect spicy kick while still being full of flavor.
They also have a big menu with plenty of options to choose from, including drinks and desserts. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes.
The restaurant itself is very clean, with plenty of space to sit and eat inside. There’s a parking lot available, plus a bathroom for customers (which is always a huge plus) The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better.
Highly recommend! I hope the manager and the quality of food never change.

soon as you walk in, you’re greeted and you can see a huge menu with a lot of options, so there’s definitely something for everyone.We ordered the jerk chicken platter ($13) with white sauce, hot sauce, and barbecue sauce, and they did not hold back on the portions. It came with a LOT of food and the flavors were on point. The sauces honestly made the whole meal even better very flavorful and tasteful.We also tried the kofta kabob ($14) which came with fries, rice, and a salad. Everything was fresh, filling, and seasoned well. Again, the portions were really good for the price.Overall, great first experience, great food, and great service. I’ll definitely be back to try more items off the menu!

Just tried the lamb and chicken platter from the new Hala Eats – New Hyde Park and it did NOT disappoint. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that classic halal flavor. The lamb was tender with a nice crisp on the outside and packed with flavor — not dry at all. The rice was fresh and fluffy, and the white sauce brought everything together perfectly. The portion size was also great — easily enough for a full meal and then some. You can tell they did it right. Definitely one of the better halal platters I’ve had in the New Hyde Park area.
This spot is 100% worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back.

Food is very average with so much fake advertising. I found this place on Tik Tok where an influencer was posting their popular dishes. In my opinion it all seems like paid advertising because the ads haven’t met up to the in person experience. They looked great in the video so I decided to try them out. I went 3 days after opening and the platter I got had rarely and chicken but full of rice. Very disappointing as that wasn’t advertised, but instead I gave it another try. I went again last week and ordered a different item. Unsanitary isn’t even a word, because the employee ( looks afghani with hat) literally got offended when I asked for extra chipotle sauce. He decided to go to the sink and put water in the sauce and put it in my order??? I told him and he said oh do u want me to remake it then? I told him no give me a refund and he said no .Not the correct neighborhood to be doing this type of business. No effort, rushed and no acknowledgement. Below I attached a picture. Quesadillas was so soggy and dripping with watery sauce.

Mixed chicken/lamb rice platter and the Philly cheese steak are delicious. The meats, rice, and fries are well seasoned. Looking forward to eating here again!

A new halal spot just opened in the neighborhood, and I decided to give it a try. They offer a good variety of platters, salads, and fast food options. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich combo, which comes with seasoned fries and a drink, and it was great. The chicken sandwich was quite large, filling, and well made. The seasoned fries were fresh and tasted really good.
The place itself is neat and clean. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

I came to support this new neighborhood spot after seeing the “opening soon” signs for weeks. We stopped by on a Wednesday night to check it out. The staff seemed fairly new, and although they messed up our order, I brushed it off and didn’t make a big deal about it. We ordered platters and decided to overlook the service issues.
Unfortunately, once I got home and ate the food, I threw up within about five minutes. The next day was even worse and this is embarrassing to say but I had severe diarrhea unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It was honestly a terrible reaction.

The quesadilla doesn’t taste bad but you should skip it. The fries taste the same as other Halal places. The lamb in the guro is very good. The rice and chicken tenders are great!! A piece of my order was accidentally given to someone else – that happens but what I didn’t like was they forgot to give me the red and white sauce because it was already given to me in the bag that the other person took… I can’t properly rate the mixed platter without white sauce. The bathroom is nice and new. You can tell the staff have stress when there are multiple customers.

My brothers and I just had food from this restaurant and it was the perfect weekend food. We ordered the loaded fries and wings, several flavors and it was the best! I wish I could post a photo, but we kind of finished the food before I remembered to write this review lol. For a Long Island place, good quality halal food is hard to find and I’m throughly satisfied. I’ll be coming here for Ramandan for sure.
