Great local spot with a roadhouse feel in a farmhouse atmosphere. They have excellent service, simple familiar menu items with a pleasant upscale twist. Very fair prices, Lots of fresh baked giant cookies and even local Farm eggs, and honey to purchase. The venue is definitely set up for live music although it wasn’t going when I visited. Try the Reuben, It was fantastic! I love that they make it with a homemade mustard sauce instead of thousand island dressing. The home cut fries were absolutely perfect! I would say skip the mac & cheese, just shells and American cheese. With as good as everything else was, I sure would love to try it if they made a real homestyle mac & cheese.

We drove 30 minutes to check out this place on a whim. I was expecting just a typical mom and pop cheeseburger but this was anything but typical. This was the most flavorful, juiciest, cheeseburger I have eaten in my 57 years. Id rate it a 12 if I could.
I HIGHLY recommend if youre anywhere near the town of Navasota to make the trip. They do serve breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning so I will be going back to have a taste.

I can not tell you enough how much I enjoyed that freaking bacon cheeseburger! The patty was juicy and the bacon was thick cut and crispy. They make thier own patties AND thier own fries!! It’s out of the way for me but I’m coming back.

We recently tried this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The flavor of the burgers was fantastic, and the fries and special burger sauce were really good… definitely highlights of the meal.
That said, 3 out of the 4 burgers at our table came out undercooked and very pink, so we had to send them back to the kitchen. The staff handled it, but it did take away from the overall experience.
There’s clearly a lot of potential here because the food tastes great when it’s done right. With more consistency in cooking, this could easily be a higher-rated spot.

Drove over and got here at 6:30 PM on a Tuesday. Google says open until 8PM thought I’d call just to make sure they were open before driving over and got a voice mail message saying they were busy and that if its regular business hours (which were repeated again on the message: open until 8pm on Tuesday) to just come on down. Well we did and showed up to a completely closed establishment. Have better communication. Thanks

Our first time eating here at the “new” location. We’ve gone to see bluebonnet many hears now but never took time to try the cafe. So today was the day. We had planned to have breakfast but unfortunately we were 5 minutes too late since it ends at 11am. Oh well. We ordered the brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich with side of fries. We have to say it’s one of the best BBQ we’ve had. Sauce was great and meat was smokey and delicious. The Cafe is decoded with pictures and some antiques. The setting in on a little hill with bluebonnets growing all around. Service was great. We plan to go back again soon. Highly recommend.

If you’re headed down 105, it’s only 1 mile off your route and we’ll worth it! Great food, great people, and the price point is spot on.
I had a BBQ sandwich for lunch, it was stacked with brisket and tasted great!

Food was good as well as the atmosphere. However, I debated to even give this place 3 stars on just the disgusting behaviors of the cook (appeared to be the owner) to his staff yesterday as my husband and I met our nice for lunch here. I wanted mayonnaise for my burger. I went to the counter and asked the very polite staff for some. A young lady went around the back to ask. I could see through the window that the cook didn’t even acknowledge her. She asked him again and he gruffed at her to get out of his kitchen. I waited a good six to seven minutes at the counter and finally told the counter people that if he didn’t want me to have any then I’d go around myself to get it.
She again went around and asked which he rudely gave her a glare once again. Another staffer was willing to risk it and went to get me some. When your staff are afraid of you, you are a horrible person!

Popped in after a chili cook off in Navasota, and this place hit the spot. We both had bacon cheeseburgers with fries, which seems to be popular here. I can certainly agree that they are both very good. White Hall might be out of the way, but if you happen by I would recommend a stop in.

This is our second attempt to like this restaurant. Unfortunately we will not be trying a third time. The first visit we wanted the loaded fries. They didn’t have them that day. Apparently they are not on the menu all the time.
The second time we came was for brunch and I looked at menu prior coming. My heart was set on strawberry pancakes. We get there and “no strawberries came in their delivery.” We suggested to maybe make a run to the grocery store. The cashier said, oh good idea.it took over 30
minutes to get our food order. There was only one other table in there restaurant with people at it. Wow. Awful long to get lunch out. I’ll attach a pic too. Please tell me what is wrong in the pic.
