Great breakfast spot inside of the Eldorado Reno. Pancakes and eggs cooked to perfection. Our server Melony was terrific. Will be back for sure! We went back 3x in 3 days and every time the food was great.

We came here after another place in the hotel had a long – long wait. We were very happy with the decision. Better options, better drinks, and better ambiance. Millie’s is a great place to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. We did breakfast and the huge portions and great flavors and other options were just what we needed and enjoyed. The service is a 4 because the pink haired hostess – no greeting, looked annoyed when we asked for a table of six and slapping menus down on the table after lazily sliding them from the counter top to her hand – no eye contact – no smile. Yikes. Overall I recommend a visit and do breakfast. Thanks to our awesome server and the check out lady. Kudos. I’ll be back.

I visited Millie’s Cafe at the Eldorado around 11:15 AM with a party of four, and the experience left me with a bad taste before I even saw a menu.
When we were being seated, the waitress in the first section, Wendy, told the host to “skip her.” We were promptly shuffled off to another area. Normally, I wouldn’t think much of it, but 30 minutes later, I watched that same waitress (who rejected our party of four) happily welcome and seat a couple in her section.
The unprofessionalism didn’t stop there. I overheard another waiter trying to reject a different party, claiming he needed to leave soon and would only accept a “single person.” It seems the wait staff here are allowed to hand-pick their customers based on party size or personal preference, which is incredibly troubling and makes guests feel unwelcome.
The saving grace of the meal was our actual waitress, Nancy. She was courteous, friendly, and did a great job despite the awkward start. However, the “gatekeeping” behavior from the rest of the staff, specifically the waitress who refused us, is highly unprofessional for a major resort cafe.

We ordered two different entrees at this place. The tacos were greasy cold, tasted like spoiled beef. It was horrible. My wife is a California chick. Very few taco she don’t like she would not eat these. I tried. I did not like them as well. Just turned her stomach and mine. Also ordered the chicken fingers which were pretty good. But you can get the same quality from any gas station place for the chicken fingers our waiter Jerry was amazing! But he’s the only one. I tried to tell them that that food was horrible and it was still all left on the plate would not even give us a discount for it. If you do not have a taste palette, order the tacos, you’ll regret it later. The three-star review is generous. If it was not for Jerry it would have gotten one star review.

Delilah was the best waitress. She was friendly, sweet, attentive and an all around exceptional server. Zareen was also very friendly and eager to help. I love the atmosphere and the food, but the service was the biggest seller. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. ★★★★★★★★★★

Disappointed all the way around. We had a party of 9 and several of us either didn’t eat at all or barely ate the food they served us because of the poor quality. One of us was served a quesadilla that was so greasy and limp it couldn’t be eaten, and it was emerged with an already limp piece of lettuce hanging off the side of the plate. Things got worse from there, we were told they can’t split checks. They tried to get one of us to pay for everyone and divide it up between ourselves. We insisted it be split and this got the manager involved. The manager insisted it couldn’t be split either, but finally did so, reluctantly. I would NOT recommend eating here.

Dinner was excellent! And so was the service. I walked in at about 10pm after a long day, and Toni was quick to greet me and show me to my table. Tim came in shortly after, took my order, and served my dinner to me within 10-15 minutes. Another gentlemen helped wait on me and make sure my lemon water was always filled lol. And on top of that, they were all friendly and invited me to relax as long as I wanted. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a perfectly cooked meal.
As far as the food, I ordered Roasted Brussel Sprouts, a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad and Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The salad was prepared well with the right amount of dressing, the brussel sprouts soaked up the sauce that tasted amazing with the roasted flavor. It enchanced the almost smokiness of it all and added some rich sweetness. And the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was cooked to perfection, nice char on the outside, but cooked to a tender, soft, and juicy texture, just like it should be. Altogether, a little over $60 for my three disges and it was all well worth it with generous portions!
Next time I’m back in Reno, I’ll definitely be at Millies24 again!

Millies restaurant inside the Eldorado serves breakfast and lunch. I ordered the sausage biscuits and gravy with eggs of your choice. My over easy eggs were delicious. The gravy was good. However the biscuits were hard on the top, not flaky. I could not cut into them with a fork. Being from the south, I expect flaky biscuits you can pull apart or cut with a fork.
I mentioned the biscuits to my waitress. She took the plate off my ticket. Didn’t expect that. Service was good!

I went on October 27, 2025 around 11:15am. I wanted to have a good breakfast with my husband. I was seated and we ordered food. I opened the fork and knife and found my fork not clean and has hard food stuck on it like cheese or something. So I a lady because my server wasn’t around and I showed her the fork and she then said she’ll bring me another fork. She brought me another fork and knife and left. I opened it and AGAIN I found a dirty fork so I called her again and I asked her if she’s the manager and she said she is then she said I’ll bring you another set. So she went and got me one from the dishwasher. At that time I was already sick to my stomach because that’s really gross just thinking how I’m about to eat after someone and how unsanitary that is. Like what if someone has something can spread it to us. So then I told her, this is actually really gross and how unsanitary it is and her response was “well what do you want me to do? I just bought you a new set from the dishwasher” please note that both forks were visibly covered with left over food like literally it can be seen by anyone! So I told her that I’m just surprised how she didn’t even apologize and has an attitude then I told her how do I know that the plate you’re bringing our food on would be clean since she had to go bring 2 new sets and both were dirty. So she said “I guess you’ll never know idk how I can help you” by that time the food was already being served on our table and I told her I dont appreciate how she’s responding and I am not paying for food that I will not consume and we left. The attitude was absolutely the worst. She never apologized, she had major attitude and is super unprofessional. I have no idea how she is a manager instead of trying to fix and de-escalate the problem, she was giving me attitude for complaining about 2 dirty forks that were brought to me while she can see they’re visibly unclean. They can go over the cameras to really see how bad that was and that I never ate or touched both forks. I will be reporting this to the Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) and Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH). I would hate to see anyone get sick because they can’t properly clean their utensils which everyone is using. I wonder how gross their food is being done inside. Never ate their food because I was literally about to throw up because this was too gross. The WORST experience I have EVER had. The manager is so miserable and should be fired for not being professional and being rude and not fixing the problem. Instead, she was almost yelling at me for complaining and her voice was being raised. Someone needs to watch the camera and see how I was being treated.
