I come here as a regular and it’s always such a vibe. You never know what’s gonna happen, who you’ll run into. Mo is a gem and a sweetheart, and everyone who works here always makes me feel like family 🙂 my favorite things about this place are the live music they play, and the friggin onion rings. As an unofficial onion ring aficionado, these ones are the greatest. But don’t take my word for it, try them yourself! Actually, you should really just take my word for it.

Been a while since we were at Mos. Today was very disappointing. The service was good the food was very bad. The steak My husband had was very thin and small nothing like they have had before. Just not good at all. Will probably not go back for a while and then only to see Christine. Sorry Mo but it was bad.

Stopped in twice while in town for the weekend visiting friends who live in the area. First time for drinks but a couple people in our party of eight ordered food which I sampled and it was all good, rib eye steak, pasta, and ceviche. Came back two days later for lunch, fish sandwich, French dip as well as an appetizer. Good beers on tap but beer wasn’t as cold as I would have liked it, but I guess that’s why you can ask for a chilled glass. Pool tables which thru concert to dining tables in the evening. Great, local, neighborhood bar/restaurant.

Arrived at Playa del Rey aftee 9 pm tonight and was longing for a nice Dive Bar Burger and atmosphere to unwind a bit.

Serendipity led me to Mo’s because, despite that I didn’t have enough cash, and that my card didn’t work in their ATM, and I was about to leave, Mike (from behind the counter) offered to make up the difference and I ended up enjoying a lovely soup, a terrific Mo’s Burger, and a wonderful live performance by a talented duo doing soft rock classics.

After enjoying both meal and music, I thanked Mike for the courtesy, asked about the soup and learned it was tortilla soup.

I told him I’d definitely be back and guess what? … Mike sent me off with a container of soup for the road [it’s a chilly night].

All for the $10 cash I had.

Appreciate you, Mike!

Neet little pub. Only stopped in for a beer and the waitress talked me into the hazy. Do it if you’re an IPA connoisseur. Tasty, fresh and not too heavy.
The outside patio was a great spot to wait for friends.
I will definitely save this spot and come back.

Staff are great. On special was a Reuben sandwich. 4 out of 10 stars. The rye was too fluffy, thick cut and had no bite, the corned beef was chunky not thin sliced, there wasn’t enough sauerkraut, and chef forgot the Thousand Island or Russian dressing. (Kate at the bar hooked me up.) Not even sure the cheese was Swiss because it also had no bite. There was no TANG to a famously tangy sandwich. Having lived a long time in NYC, I file this under “Travesty.” I love Mo’s Place for its local, friendly ambiance and warm staff, not to mention the proximity to Toes Beach two blocks away. I just wish the food were better. Oh, the onion rings were great. Big, beefy and f’real. Still: go and decide for yourself. It’s a fun and happy place.

Amazong place by the Calufornia coastline with a sea breeze always blowing through.
Fish-N-Chips were amazing, served with fries, tartar sauce, & vinegar.
All pub fare is good here. Spend a little time and get to know their staff because they are awesome. Enjoy!

Fantastic food. Fabulous waitresses.
Service was excellent.
Was very busy so may pay to make a reservation if possible. Parking out front and some road side parking in the side streets. All wheelchair accessible.
