I have concerns. On Monday night, a little past 7:00 p.m., no it was not a holiday I went to this location. The sign out front was lit up and it said open. The lights were on. There was an employee. There was every indication that this establishment was open. Including the fact that it was open for orders on Uber eats. I walked in, the man behind the counter looked me up and down as if he was shocked that I would even enter the establishment. He asked what I wanted. I told him I wanted to order and he told me that his restaurant was closed. That was clearly not true. It was nowhere near closing time. No one was cleaning up as if they were waiting to close. He was standing behind the register as if he was ready to work. I strongly feel that this was discrimination. I’m disgusted and I do not recommend that anyone support the establishment. This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves. DO BETTER.

The fish and chips were absolutely delicious, no complaints about the food at all. However, the service was very disappointing, especially from the girl at the cashier. She was quite rude and clearly lacked basic customer service skills. To make things worse, she started cleaning the restaurant right next to our table even though it was only 6 p.m. and closing time is at 9 p.m. She placed all the chairs on top of the tables and began sweeping and mopping just a few inches from our feet. I would love to come back for the food, but the poor service completely ruined the experience.

First and foremost if I could fully express the enriching, loving, and delicious environment this restaurant brings into words, you’d be here for the next 24 hours reading a magazine column stretched out across 100 newsletter pages. The location is questionable, but then aren’t all rare gems’ and magnificent establishments? What I would consider a whole in the wall in NMB this eatery will quench your hunger for Fish&Chips’. This isn’t your typical rodeo ride, this is the real deal.
The selection, Salmon preferred Fried with a side of fries (a HIT) takes you to to a realm of bewilderment as to how good each bite gets. My Mother and Father both ordered the COD fried, with sweet potato and Israeli salad, which also put them in amazement!
There was not a single consumable thing on the table that wasn’t devoured in under minutes. My father is a Fish&Chips kind of gentlemen so he is pretty finicky about how it’s made, with a nice golden crust, and a bite with spices engorging your taste buds till the end. This set a whole new bar and standard.
(Pause, if you think I’m exaggerating, read this before you eat, come back and read it again with a stomach full of the aforementioned. Thank me later.)
P.S the restaurant/eatery is run by a Husband and Wife, who have no waiters’. A more driven couple you won’t find, the Husband takes the orders, and partially cooks while the wife feeds the baby, and after she’s done, she jumps right in to helping out, whether cleaning the tables, waitering, or bringing out orders while the baby is asleep. They make it happen, even now when I’m writing this, the restaurant is at full capacity up until the family with the Rabbi with 5 daughters and wife walked out a few minutes ago. Give them a chance, give the food an opportunity, deviate from your route anywhere in Florida, and stop here.

We’ve been running a daily breakfast in our synagogue for close to 9 months now that probably serves more than 50 people a day. Bubbys Owner worked with us to provide a consistent delicious daily breakfast for almost 9 months now at a great price. Personally delivered, always smiling, adjusting as we request, and very often throws in “on the house” items like platters of lox, or a shakshuka etc. He even stops at the local bakery for us when we add danishes or pastries to the order – unheard of!
I don’t think we would have been able to provide a consistent breakfast for our community like this without Bubbys at the cost and quantity that he provides for us. Thank you from the entire CSB community.

I used to love ordering from this eatery. The service and food quality is not what it once was. I received a completely salty Israeli salad, burnt home fries and egg shells in my scramble. Not to mention the woman with the rude attitude and lack of customer service.
I entered the restaurant (newly renovated and smells good) no one at the counter but I hear two women speaking. I jingle my keys as I walked about waiting for someone to come to the counter. Then I finally rang the bell, the woman came out, chastised me and then returned to the other staffer in the kitchen to complain in Creole that I rang the bell.
Just not a pleasant experience from the service to the food. I gave 3 stars because of the impression the owner/manager made years ago.

This place is great! Amazing fresh food, big portions and super tasty! The 10″ pizza pie has a beautiful crust and very tasty. Server was nice and helpful even gave us a free extra milkshake. Over all 10/10.

Ive driven by this place many times for months and I was super excited to try the food, because I loved the concept of kosher seafood. I love kosher food and I appreciate the culture. However this was not reciprocated. When i walked in, “What do you want? Said the old white hair, slender, man. He was not courteous. A young lady took my order. When i returned to pick up my food, i stood there for minutes, waiting for the old slender, white haired man, to get off his phone and acknowledge me, he was 2 feet away. I had to call on him to get his attention because i was invisible, he did not look my way, he just slid the food to me, no words, no thank you… If you re not part of this group, and you look different, don’t be surprised for the poor service. It’s 2024, let’s be kind to one another, Im never coming back after this experience. And for the person who’s gonna write back and try to discredit’s me, just reply with well try to fix it, because this is the way, It went down.

Amazing is just one word to describe this place. Fish and chip is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone in the area. Flavors are unmatched and overall the food is so good. 10/10 would go again.
