What a great place! The absolute best tortilla I’ve ever had. We had a Pina Colada (a bit light on the alcohol) and spicy margarita (perfect!) as well as the taco cochintas and quesabirrias (different from what was expected but fantastic). The waiters were very nice as well. A great way to start our time in Mexico! VIVA MEXICO!

Marco and the staff were awesome. Good was 5 star. Massages were fantastic. Beach was perfect. Chairs and cushions, view was beautiful. You cannot go wrong spending a day at port at malecon 21.

What an experience. I felt like I was gonna die on the way there, cab driver was in a mission, but once we pulled up……..
Stunning views and absolutely delicious food
We had a couple margaritas which were fantastic, but the food was the star.
We ordered the guacamole, octopus, fish and shrimp frutatas, shrimp tacos and passion fruit cheesecake.
Everything was fresh, hot and delicious.
You have to spend a minimum of $40 a person to sit on there beach beds but it was well worth it We ended up spending $87 and did not regret it one bit the right back to the port was great with our second cab driver.
The highlight of the meal was Gustavo, the well-mannered young man who sat us and served us.
Here’s a pro tip. Stay away from the salsa if you don’t like spicy stuff I’m from New Mexico and love spicy stuff but even for me it was HOT

Marco was great. Very attentive and gave drinks without asking. Beach had low water so a lot of seaweed. Not their fault. Great place with privacy and cool breezes.

At the very end of the road. So the vibe is very chill and quiet here.
Food is excellent. Got the catch of the day. It’s fresh and flavorful especially when paired with the recommended sauce, Chili renllio(?). Drinks are strong as well.

I came to Malecón21 with my fiancé after booking the 40 USD freedom package. We arrived via taxi from the cruise port and were greeted right away, then brought to the counter so they could check our reservation & give us wristbands.
We were assigned David as our waiter, and Marco as his assistant waiter. Both of them were very kind and helpful. At one point, signs that it was going to rain began appearing. We had been served food out at the beach, so I figured that we would just try and finish eating quickly, but David & Marco came over to help move everything under their covered area instead. David later noticed we were having trouble with a fly, so he brought a device to help keep it away. Very attentive service overall, which I really appreciated a lot.
As for the food, we had the marrow with Mexican street corn, tacos caribe, tacos cochinita, macchiatone, Eden smoothie, & strawberry-cardamom kombucha. Everything was really good, and I feel it was one of the best meals we’ve had. I highly recommend all the items we tried!
The restaurant & beach had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. They were playing instrumental music that was fun & pleasant, and the place wasn’t overly crowded at all.
When we were done, Marco helped us hail a taxi back, which was very helpful.
I really enjoyed our visit here. If we ever end up at the Costa Maya port again, I think we will come back here again!
