Tucked away off of Two Notch, Zuni’s was originally an on-a-whim stop for me to try out a new Asian restaurant and take some lunch home for my kids. I was delighted to find a clean and quiet space with a decent variety of Korean, Chinese, and Thai dishes, as well as wings, with appetizers from each culture present, though Korean fare seems the core strength. Very happy with our meal choices, especially the bulgogi. Each meal has featured well-balanced flavors and fresh ingredients, and service is always with a smile. The location might seem a bit far from the street, but once inside you realize that adds to the quiet charm. Definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner options.

Holy Moly!! Do NOT let the outside appearance deceive you. This place is amazing! I have been craving a really good bowl of Jjajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk. My standards are pretty high from a restaurant I visited in a different state and I haven’t found a restaurant local or close to that came close to that restaurant. I saw online that this place sells both so we decided to come on over. We arrived and placed our order. Food came out quickly. Oh my gosh! Everything was SOOO GOOD!! I will HAPPILY drive the hour it took for me to get here to eat these plates again. Jjajangmyeon was amazing! Bouncy, chewy noodles. Sauce was not too thick or too thin or watery. It was delicious! Tangsuyuk was nice and hot and chewy. The sauce was hot, as well, and delicious! We ordered the sesame chicken spicy. It was also very VERY good! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place. We will definitely return

We came in during a Saturday lunch. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. They would definitely benefit from some music at the very least. It was dead silent when we went in. This place was clean, though.
As for the food, we came for the 탕수육, 짬뽕, and 짜장면, which are very popular dishes in Korea and hard to get in Columbia, SC. The 탕수육 was the best part by far. Their sauce was unique, and the fried pork was perfectly prepared. The black noodles were not great at all–too watery, which caused them to be overly bland and lacking flavor. The seafood noodle soup was not good either. The soup flavor was overpowered by the smell of bok choy.
All in all, we will come back for the fried pork and maybe try some other dishes.

When my friend and I met here for a quick lunch the first thing I noticed was the great customer service and how clean it is. We came in excited to try the Thai options, but the chef was unavailable that particular day. Which means we will just have to try again! (The rice portion was enough for two meals.)

Hands down my new favorite spot for Chinese food! The staff is nice and friendly! Food was fresh and very flavorful, but also affordable! They definitely deserve a 5 Star!! I got the 5 cut honey wing with pork fried rice! Their fried rice is THE BEST!!!

Zuni’s Chinese Food & Wings & More is still Best of China Hut to me and they didn’t miss one thing. The remodel is nice and inviting but the food is still off the chain!! One of my favorite things is the egg drop soup and the consistency is still there every time I order it.

Underwhelming. Tried the Beef Bulgogi and while the beef was fresh and tender, it did not have the pronounced sweet and savory flavor that is expected in a bulgogi dish. Unfortunately, it tasted like Chinese beef and broccoli. I also ordered the honey wings. They were flavorful but swimming in sauce and the quality of the chicken was questionable. It looked and tasted like the chicken had been previously frozen. Surprisingly disappointing experience at Zunis, especially given some of the other positive reviews. Kind and attentive service is a redeeming factor here. Maybe it was an off day for the food. I may give them another try, but I also may not.

As an Executive Chef that rarely eats out, I get asked all the time about the places I do choose to eat at. Someone’s review of this place popped up on my phone while I was looking for something else, and I realized I was right around the corner from here. I said to myself, “Why not? I could at least grab some plain wings for my kids.” I walked in, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was the absolute cleanest and put together grab and go Asian restaurant I’ve been to. I immediately knew the food in the BOH would be prepared with as much care as the FOH. So, I ordered six items off the menu to get a better variety of things to try. They did not disappoint at all. The food was spot on, delicious, made with care, properly served in a timely manner, and I will put this place on my list of go-to restaurants in the area.
