Wonderful service, Denise was very patient with me and helped recommend an amazing 12 cookies for me.
My favorite was the heath bar cookie!
A very tasteful chocolate flavor.
There were a lot of people getting cakes and many other things.

My Grandmother made the best strawberry cake. No one could come close, I found The Sweetery and they have the closest I’ve ever found. It is fantastic. I have had other cakes there and they are just a great. Will always buy my cakes from them!

I got a lemon cake with raspberry filling for my daughters birthday. The cake was so dry it was not pleasing to eat at all. We all ate a few bites of our slice and then threw over half the cake away. It was not worth $45.00. I’m sorry to leave this complaint for all to see, but there is no where to send them a private message. I’ve ordered other cakes from them that were delicious, but this one honestly was like very sweet cardboard.

We purchased a Banana Split Cake for Labor Day. Unfortunately, after cutting the 4th slice, we found a piece of hair in between the layers. We were advised that proper precautions were taken by wearing hair nets which is great. It could have been an eyelash. However, that doesn’t change the fact that hair was IN the cream not on top which is disgusting nonetheless. We advised the store with pictures of uneaten cake and the hair and haven’t gotten a follow up response since we were advised of the hair net policy. An offer to replace the cake or issue a refund should have been extended instead of no longer responding to the complaint.

First and foremost, everyone was so kind and friendly. To be honest, we stopped in to look knowing the prices would be higher than just going to a grocery store, but we were looking for something special and for a special lady. We needed an Italian sweet Creme Cake, and the Sweetery came through for us. For around $25, we were able to order a small cake that was a perfect size for our needs, and boy, oh boy was it delicious! Handicapped parking out front, and to my surprise, they serve food too! Sandwich specials that include a cake slice and plenty of tables. There are also cakes and pies and a variety of cookies ready for purchase.

Wonderful experience having lunch at The Sweetery. The employees all seemed happy to be there, and happy to have my little family as customers. The ladies talked to my son (2.5) and daughter (1) and made sure they liked their food. Felt right at home. My only suggestion is to get a couple high chairs, but that slight inconvenience does not deter me from making sure to post this 5-star review. 🙂
As for the food… the Dilly Chicken sandwich on sourdough special was heavenly! My husband said the BLT was NOT short of bacon. Tomato and lettuce were both fresh.
We needed coffee after running errands with our two littles, and even the coffee was great. Pumpkin cake was delicious.
If we ever find ourselves out that way again, we will definitely stop in for another sandwich. Thank you for the great experience.
