They never smile or say hello at this location. You practically have to beg for food even though you are paying. I ordered 3 bowls. The first were chicken and the second was steak. Got exactly 7 pieces of chicken and I asked for more and got another few pieces that didn’t even seem to be a regular portion but I thought, let me not ask for more because they may try to charge me. Do you know they did exactly that! Charged me $6 for a less than regular serving. I can not wait until citrus county shows them what they are capable of because they will make you close or sell. Then maybe we can get an owner who cares about their customers. Until then, we’ll only have this chain when we go to Orlando. They are way better. Definitely worth the trip. They smile and talk to you and your kids.

It’s been a few months and I wasn’t going to share this but both times I went to this location was not a good experience. First time they were very busy and I get that, but the lady in charge did not seem to be able to handle the flow of customers. Take the order, make the food, check them out. She was micromanaging everyone else to the point that nobody knew what they were supposed to do. It took 3x the time to get my single oder through when everything is RIGHT THERE. Ordered directly from the posted menu and we get our own drinks.
The second time, same lady. I explained that I was under dietary restrictions and could not eat rice or vegetables due to trying to find out where my allergies were coming from. Just meat. So she made me order a bowl, she put RICE in the bottom, argued with me about adding extra portions of meat that I UNDERSTOOD I WOULD PAY FOR, and when she finally put an extra amount of steak SHE USED HER GLOVED HAND WHICH JUST TOUCHED ALL THE TONGS TO REACH IN MY BOWL AND PULL OUT PIECES SHE THOUGHT WAS “TOO MUCH”. So embarrassing and the line behind us started thinning out when they saw all that.
I was a food service manager for 12 years. My dog enjoyed the food very much and I won’t be back. Ever. Read all the reviews! It makes me feel horrible to post a negative review but that’s what happened. I will not be pursuing communication with upper management or a coupon. No thank you.

Tonight was the best experience at this location. Everything was very clean, fresh, and the workers all polite and working together as a team.
All of our food was perfect. It was definitely an A team working tonight!

CONSISTENTLY INCONSISTENT. We’ve tried the Inverness location several times and continue to be disappointed. You know how some Chipotle locations “hook you up” with nice sized portions and a smile while customizing your order? You won’t get that at this location. Small subpar size portions, delivered with an attitude. And not just from one person; most (but not all) employees there seem to hate their job and having to deal with another human being. Nobody seems to know what they are doing. It’s sad because everyone was so excited to get a Chipotle here in Inverness. The taste of the food itself has been pretty good (minus this last visit where the steak was the absolute worst). We’ve waited for them to get their growing pains/kinks worked out, but it isn’t happening. I don’t see them staying in business at this rate.

Walked into a waiting line and had to hear 10 times there is no rice for 30 mins to get people to leave. I waited it out for 30 minutes, and there still was no rice. Got a burrito anyway to find out there was no steak. Had to wait 20 minutes for that as well. To my dismay, I never got the rice, and the burrito was worthless and was double wrapped with tortilla. It tasted like a leather sack. Maybe 4 pieces of steak that were chewing on a 5 year old beef jerkey. Just look at my pics and video of the wanna be burrito for 13.50. The guy on this business card should be fired immediately, and the whole staff retrained. Or, just shut the place down.

To the manager that made the schedule and picked the team to work today, you just found your A-Team! That was the fastest I’ve ever gone through a line like that! Faster than a Moes, subway, or other places with the same set up. There were 5 or 6 people on the line making our bowls and not a beat was skipped, plus look at the picture I posted! I did ask for extra, and they did deliver! No skimping at all. I can’t say every time has been this way but whatever you did today keep it up!!

Food is hit or miss. The rice can sometimes be hard. I’m no fan of management. They can be very rude and nasty. I’ve been treated very rudely on more than one occasion over asking for vinaigrette. Even told me I couldn’t get any because they needed to save what was left for electronic orders. It’s gotta a little better, but they used to run out of food all the time!! Way before closing time. The portion size are skimpy, so you have to ask to add more. Otherwise, you’ll pay $12 for a $6 portion size. I’ve put complaints into corporate.

I have been there 3 different times of day and they have been out of guacamole every time!! Its a shame that they promote it on commercials and they never seem to have it available or just run out and have no back up. It ridiculous. I refused service and walked out because of it. You should have evedything available from open to close period. I will never go to inverness chipotle again.

I’m in the drive through waiting as usual, so what better use of my time. I really like Chipotle and was happy to see this was coming soon when I moved here back in March. I understand it’s new and I have given them 4 chances to get it right. I noticed there is no point in ordering ahead because the wait time is twice as long than walking in and ordering. I’ve never gotten the food in the 25 min time but more like 50 mins after I order. When you go through the line they don’t open the window to say anything to you like “one moment” or we will be right with you”. I’m pretty sure the only orders made on time are for delivery. The food should be consistent because it’s a chain, but that isn’t even the case. The chips are over salted and soggy. My tacos had two or maybe 3 pieces of steak on each. Very disappointed. I ordered a bowl and it says extra lettuce. I’d hate to see regular if this is extra. See photos.
Update: Chipotle corporate reached out and offered a free menu item that was added to my account. It expired before I was able to use it. I can’t believe they sent a reward that expired in response to a complaint.

This is the worst Chipotle we have ever been to.
Always out of something. Today no lettuce and no Fajita. Seems like they always have new employees every time we go. It’s a shame. We thought we would give it time when they wee new, but there has been no improvement. Chipotle has always been a frequent for our family, this one is so disappointing.
