Atmosphere is very clean and relaxed as management doesn’t allow shenanigans by local teen behavior.

Seems like you cook all versions of your chicken when you open. Then stick your customers with cold, funky chicken for the rest of the day. I’ve been there at different times, always the same cold crap. Thankfully I was smart enough to spend $15 instead of risking $30. I’m done. Not that anyone cares, but I won’t be back.

The worker was rude from the moment we walked in the door. He acted bothered to have to take our order. Food came quickly. It was not fresh at all. Our biscuits had red ink all over them. It appeared to be transferred from their paper they line the baskets with. Won’t be returning here.

I stopped going here because while I love their fries, the texture my last few visits was like they were warmed up old ones. After a few months I decided to give them another try and just not order the fries. I ordered 2pc wing and breast original with coleslaw. Once I pulled up and paid, I was asked to pull into a parking space and someone would bring my food right out.
I get 30 minutes for lunch. Chicken is usually quick but after no one came out with my order for 15 minutes, I got out of my car and went inside. I was informed that someone “should” have told me they were out of original but it’d be done in about 3 minutes and asked if I got my drink yet. I told him no and he handed me a cup to make it myself. I guess I should just be grateful it wasn’t sitting already made and melting down. My paid receipt was generated at 4:28pm. I finally got my food at 4:50 giving me less than 10 minutes to get back to work and eat. You could have told me the wait would be that long or offered the crispy chicken as a substitute or the option to order something else. They threw in a ind mashed potatoes, perhaps as a peace offering but put it on top of my coleslaw making it warm when I went to eat it. The gravy was off, making the gift inedible and the chicken was so greasy it just felt like a wasted $11 as the soda was the only thing decent. Chicken dinner is a 2-3 napkin meal, I saturated 3 napkins and it took 3 more to get my hands dry. Pics are of saturated napkins and wax paper visibly full of grease that was in the box.
I usually won’t write a negative review on a restaurant unless I’ve had multiple bad experiences. Save yourself the trouble. Lee’s is superior in service, taste and not being greasy.
I will give the crew credit for being humble and apologetic and special thanks to the nice man inside reminding me to not let this ruin my day. While I was clearly upset, I wasn’t throwing a “Karen” tantrum or anything. The man inside just knew my time constraints were stressing me out. Honest reviews are the only way to improve and I really hope y’all do! This was a terrible experience though and I’ll spend my money elsewhere going forward.

This is the worst KFC I have ever visited. The only time the food is good is if you come before 5pm. After 5pm, management is rude and don’t care what they give you. Wednesday 1/28/2026 the evening female manager had the nerve to put a bit off piece of chicken in my box and said she didn’t when I watched her make my order. Then she served me mashed potatoes I guess that was blending up. When I asked her what was the powdery substance in my mash potatoes she played dumb. Then I asked her was these instant mash and she said yes which means that it wasn’t blended up correctly. SMH. Food is cold. Im just so pissed right now. This is what happens when you don’t have the right people in charge.

1pm 11-6-25. Young man behind the counter was the most relatable and personable person I’ve seen in a while. He has every aspect of understood the assignment down. Potato wedges better than I remember. Chicken was great. KFC is back on my list of chicken places.

If my order only matched how nice the uh the service was, I’m not understanding how they felt so comfortable, giving me cold old chicken. They knew when they bagged that up that it was not fit to be given, but they gave it anyway. And it was horrible. The wings are awesome hot, but they are horrible, horrible, cold. And I’m very disappointed.

Food is always KFC worthy. But with prices going up tried using the digital coupon from KFC texts. They said they didn’t have a scanner so they wouldn’t accept it. Said they had a different coupon they could use that was more expensive. Back to going to Glen Carbon where they actually take the coupons.

all workers are rude as hell from the speaker to the window to pulling you forward with no one in the drive thru. to when they bring the food to your car. they forgot a straw and got mad at me about it? that makes total sense and they fries are ALWAYS disgusting hard and not edible. definitely won’t be going back again thanks for the shitty service 🙂
