First time trying Billy the Kid’s. Walked in and we were seated immediately. Server came up shortly after to take our drink order and brought out some delicious hush puppies and cinnamon butter. For sure my most favorite part of the meal. We ordered the flounder stuffed with crab meat and the large seafood platter. Presentation was good, however I found two (raw) shrimp in the crab stuffing. I placed them to the side and they actually cooked themselves on the skillet plate (it was so hot.) I did have the salad bar with my meal. Not much variety, but enough for a basic small salad. Both meals overall were fine. I would rate this restaurant as just okay. The inside is very dated, but satisfactory enough for a meal. I would not rush back, but also would not saying anything too terrible about it, either.

Food was OK- some good, some not so good. Went with 12 people. Servers were very nice but service was also very slow and food took forever. One meal was returned and it came back after they “washed” the sauce off the ribs and returned- disgusting.

Best kept secret in town!! The steak was great! But the shrimp was the freshest most tastiest shrimp I’ve ever had!! The prices were extremely lower. We went to 2 other steakhouses in the last week and nothing compared!! Service was awesome and we loved the atmosphere!!! Don’t even get me started on the hush puppies, cinnamon butter, and salad bar!! SO SO GOOD!! We will be making this our number 1 steak and fish house!!!

Overall the food was amazing, the atmosphere is a quiet family environment. The service was lacking, we waited 30 minutes to get menus just to place our order. Once we placed the order we waited another 30 to 45 minutes for shrimp and a steak.
I will give the place another try as we all have off days.

Larry Stevens the music entertainer of the evening told us about this place. We went to see him. Food prices are extremely reasonable. I had the large fried seafood platter. Couldn’t finish it. Food was excellent. They were very busy and maybe a little short staffed like most places. Place is older and alot of locals were dancing. Was a fun evening. We will definitely be back.

This establishment had an extremely friendly staff that are very nice. Their is a western decor which would seem pretty obvious based on the name of the establishment. It’s an okay restaurant to get a meal at. Some of the meals are fairly priced others not as much. The food here I would rate as okay. It’s not the best but it’s far from the worst u have ever had. I can so from some dishes you do get your money worth. But the food is a little on the blander side. There is a bar/club connected to the back side of the restaurant so it is possible to get a meal and then have some fun with friends afterwords.
I really like the idea and environment here and as I said the staff are great. I feel this restaurant could benefit from an updated menu and some fresh recipes for some of their dishes to deal with the bland flavor on some of them. All around I still say it would not be bad idea to have a meal here just be selective in what you order.

Waited for 10 minutes for a server, did not have a menu given to me, brought food without silverware or napkins, food was extremely greasy dripping off of everything that I ate except for the french fries. The coleslaw was swimming in its own liquid and was not much colder than room temperature.

Our server, Allison, was great. Frog legs and stuffed flounder were really good. Definitely want to try the steak choices next time.

Just all around terrible and over priced. Servers are sweating everywhere! It was hot in the restaurant. Took over an hour once ordered and only 4 tables when we walked in. Ordered the broiled seafood platter with steamed veggies. It was awful. Small portions, the steamed veggies were nasty and only had broccoli and carrots, not normandy. Said they had a new cook, so hopefully he will get in the swing of things.
The steak was overcooked. Good grilled shrimp but not on the broiled platter. Cheap cheap seafood for that one!! Just disappointing.
Sr/kids platter was the best deal. Twice the food than our $30 platters!!!
Absolutely will not be back.
