My family and i went for dinner and i definitely expected a bit more. While the food was good the portions were pretty small. I am not exaggerating when i say i had 3 spoonfuls of rice with my chicken fajitas. The portions of beans wasn’t much more.. The margaritas and queso were great! Our waiter was kind but he completely forgot to put my daughters order in. All in all not bad but a few things they could work on

We stopped for dinner on the way home in Rayville to try this place as we had driven by and noticed it off and on for months.
First impression fell kind of flat. We were shown to a table and seemingly forgotten for a good ten ~ fifteen minutes. Not sure what our server was doing most of the time but there were delays.
I ordered a sandwich to try as it sounded interesting. A Tortas I believe it was called? Carne Asada Steak strips, Avocado, cheese, and lettuce was on it I recall. Problem was there was little filling on the sandwich and the bread was gummy – very chewy. I finally just scraped everything off the bread to it.
The sandwich came with fries – unfortunately they were under cooked.
My wife ordered a chimichanga of sort and enjoyed her meal. Packed up the leftovers for a later lunch. I’m glad she enjoyed her food.
They did bring us another basket of chips as we had eaten all of the first basket while waiting for our order to be taken.
Bad luck this time? Not sure, might go back one day and order something else and see.

I usually don’t write reviews but this was a must. So I tried the quesa birrias at another restaurant and they were amazing, so i thought hm maybe they’ll be good here too. It was after church and I was happy and was really craving them. I was so wrong. First of all, barely any meat. Second of all, Fat. So much fat on it. On my first one i picked off the fat and ate that one even though there was little to no meat after that, plus the soup being cold. Then I took a look at my second one because I HATE fat on meats and examine it until i see absolutely no fat. Like it makes me sick even thinking about it. And there was a huge chunk of fat, like the only thing inside my second one was fat. I wish I would’ve took a picture but I had to literally turn away from it or I would’ve threw up.

I want to ask whoever made those: Would you eat one of those with just straight fat on it?
I don’t think you would so why do you think other people would? I sent my plate back and my mom and I shared steak and shrimp fajitas, which my appetite was already lost so whatever. The steak was thin but i’m okay with that since I don’t like fat and didn’t really have to look for it.

The server was very nice about it though so I don’t blame him whatsoever, but whoever made it needs to be fired because that was ridiculous. My grandma thought I was overreacting at first until she saw the second one. Talk to your cooks or stop serving that food if you don’t know how to make it. Thanks.

Placed a to go order over the phone. The staff were courteous seems like they needed some help at the register checking out customers, seating customers, answering the phone etc. My order was ready for pickup and at the counter, however it took an additional 15-30 minutes of me waiting standing at the register for them to clear checks and seat ppl as they walked in and I was the only person with a Togo order. The to go order was in an aluminum to go dish which I couldn’t reheat in the microwave so food was definitely cold from the time prepared to the time on the counter and the time with them actually handing the order over. I also ordered a frozen margarita when I placed my order. Finally paid and I was asked what type of drink I ordered and I specially said frozen, I was brought out a drink with no ice and definitely not frozen. My quesadilla was completely wet on the bottom tortilla to where it was gooey. Never ordered a quesadilla that wasn’t cut before. That plastic ware isn’t strong. The beans, and rice were delicious and froze my drink to drink the next day for a cost of $32. To go orders are not a good idea from here.

Servers are great. Ordered the fiesta nachos and the portion was an embarrassment. The sign at the front for Mother’s Day said one free brownie from moms. We had two mothers at the table they brought one brownie and told them to share. What an embarrassing establishment.

I have given this place multiple chances and had 1 decent experience. This last time I tried the Pina fajita. The idea of it was great. There wasn’t much meat and the pieces of meat I did get were small. I was disappointed in the price i paid for what litlle meat i got in a fajita. Salsa was extra thin, decent flavor tho. We were the only table and the service was slow. It took a while for the food to come once we ordered. I could understand if they were busy, but we were the only table. I don’t think I’ll be back after this. And the person with us paid $18 for a steak taco and a chicken taco……..no side.

Service was decent, shrimp chimichanga was horrible.
Soggy and had a plate full of what I hope was water.
Way overpriced for the food quality. Would give them another try, but not inclined at this point.

We want to like this place because it’s so close to home, but we have been here 4 times and it gets worse each visit. $65 for one margarita, 3 miller lites, a chimichanga, ice cold, no flavor and 3 cold tacos, that didn’t even have cheese on them?? The queso is like water, again no flavor?? This is as far away from authentic Mexican food as it gets?? I can cook better Mexican food at home and in the future, that’s exactly what I will do!!
