Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The patty melt at Whataburger is hands down the best thing on the menu. The two beef patties are juicy and perfectly seasoned, stacked with melted Monterey Jack cheese and those grilled onions that hit just right, all pressed between thick slices of Texas toast. On top of that, the service is always great friendly, quick, and consistent which just makes the whole experience even better.

I’ve lived here in Arizona for four years and have yet to try Whataburger, but my husband always brags about how good it is. So I decided to try it since I was getting off the freeway and my kids were hungry. The fries weren’t bad but after eating half of my burger I realize one of the patties wasn’t cooked all the way so I really hope I don’t end up sick. First and last time I will be eating here. The only reason I didn’t do a 1 star is because my husband should check what’s in the bags, but honestly he shouldn’t be responsible for checking you didn’t basically steal from us.

The burger was great. I ordered the meal and the guy who brought it said my order said no fries. I told him I ordered fries and he said he would bring them. He never came back. On my order it specifically states MD fries…lol. the clown cant read and im not happy. Also the coke was not coke..it was mostly carbinated water. I likely wont go back.

Whataburger is becoming my alternative to meeting at Starbucks! First they’re open 24-hours, serve good food (breakfast for 12 of those hours!) with a bright cheery atmosphere. This morning, I got their jalapeno cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage, hash browns, and a side of gravy. YUM.

Came by after Nascar Phoenix Championship weekend and the girl at the register was amazing and even laughed with ur when we had a tongue slip on ordering. We ordered and the same female at the registered made sure we were set and our order was right before she went too the back. Food was delicious and fresh, we will be back cause the customer service and food was top notch.

Always get exactly what I order hot and fresh every single time. The spicy chicken sandwich is my favorite thing on the menu. Can’t go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu though especially the spicy ketchup

Slow service. Waited 16 minutes for biscuits and gravy Whatameal only to find a big black hair .
Not just at this Whataburger but every one I’ve been to in metro Phoenix the food quality is poor as is service.
It’s sad when McDonalds biscuits are superior to Whataburger. Look at the Pic of the biscuit and how flat, dry and hard it is.
Why is it that Chick Fi la and in and out burger can provide quality food and service when Whataburger cannot? One word – Management.
