The name translates to “My little trailer taco stand,” a nod to its humble origins before becoming a brick-and-mortar spot. It’s tucked inside what looks like an abandoned strip mall parking lot, but don’t let that fool you—step inside, and it feels like coming home.
The restaurant is brightly lit, cozy, and immaculately clean. Walls are decorated with colorful Mexican folk art and flags, with neon beer signs adding a touch of dive-bar charm. There’s a cheerful mix of tables and chairs, Texas stars on the seatbacks, and TVs playing telenovelas or news to keep you company. A rainbow of hot sauces lines the counter under a handwritten menu, and the vibe is laid-back and genuinely local.
I ordered the large quesadilla, and not only was the water free (always appreciated), but they also brought out a complimentary basket of chips with a smoky red salsa. The food here is amazing! We enjoyed it so much, we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner during our stay in Austin. Ori, our server, was very polite and attentive. Ori shared the beginnings and success story of Mi Trailita. I highly recommend the food. It’s made fresh to order, authentic, and delicious!

Came here after an Instagram food blogger posted about it. The food was very good! Definitely a hole in the wall in a sketchy side of town but food was cheap and good! It’s a small restaurant and we were the only ones there but I did see a lot of people coming in to pick up. Definitely will be coming back in again!

In the middle of a neighborhood going through gentrification you’ll find this quaint mom and pop style restaurant. It’s a little rough around the edges but is ok inside.
They offer the typical Mexican street food tying it back to it’s trailer origins. I enjoyed some carnitas gorditas which I found pretty flavorful along with a choice of two sauces. The corn tortillas were nice and crisp. Pretty good food,.worth it if you like this kind of Mexican fare.

I came at 11:30 on a Wednesday mid morning. Got a breakfast burrito for $7. You get to choose 4 breakfast items. I chose chorizo, potato, beans, eggs. It did not disappoint. It was just the right size. Tortilla was nicely lightly crisped on the outside. The ingredients hot and moist on the inside. The chip salsa was the icing on the cake. Very good and filling. Well worth the $7. The service was fast and very friendly. Bi-lingual so don’t worry if you don’t speak the espanol. I wish they had this restaurant up north around my area in Leander. I will be back when I’m in the area.

Came here on a really hot day and got some great tacos. The owner here is really nice and prides the shop on their hand made tortillas and quality ingredients. I got three tacos and a drink for around $10. The shade was down when I went so I sat in my car in the parking lot of the gas station. Things were tidy and clean.
The food was great with the meat not being too greasy yet still having a lot of flavor. The hand made tortillas really bind everything together as well. I really hope this place thrives because their doing great work. The food was great, came out quick and service was friendly and professional.

This place is LEGIT, all the reviews I saw said to try the migas so that’s what I got and I gotta say I see why, it’s filling and delicious. I’d take this over chuys or some other over priced wanna be Mexican. This is a cheap local spot and if you scared off cuz it’s a gas station trailer well…. Grow up, don’t bother coming here and enjoying some legit food from an unassuming spot. I’m definitely coming back. And I highly recommend you give this spot a try too.

Fresh corn tortillas. I always get the al pastor w onions and cilantro of course. The green sauce is the creamy spicy kind you search high and low for. Really good. The red sauce is supet spicy, made me cry, but in the best way. The people at the counter are friendly and bilingual.
