This is the best location in Jacksonville, hands down. It’s esthetically pleasing , the food is always fresh and hot, the cultural mural on the wall, and the younger generation in here has been the best experience all around from Jacksonville with customer service. I’ll admit, I do enjoy the affordable food, but the customer service—specifically from management—needs improvement.
The general manager, Teddy, wasn’t rude, but he was very unaccommodating given the situation. Yesterday, I placed a large order totaling about $35 through a delivery service. When the food arrived, several items were missing. I called the restaurant to report the issue, and the gentleman I spoke with (who was not a manager) handled it exactly how a manager should. He asked for my name and instructed me to provide a “secret word” when I came in to pick up the remake.
When I returned today, following the instructions I was given, Teddy told me I needed to present a receipt. I explained that I was never told to bring one—only to give my name and the secret word. However, Teddy refused to remake my order and repeatedly insisted on a receipt.
It wasn’t until I contacted corporate that he finally became cooperative and began preparing the replacement order.
In a situation like this, customer satisfaction and maintaining a good reputation should come first. The order should have been remade, and any necessary follow-up could have been handled internally with staff afterward. Making things difficult for a customer—especially in front of other customers—was unnecessary.
The issue isn’t the employees, but rather the lack of proper management approach in resolving customer concerns.

Noodles tasted half boiled with 0 flavor. Ordered an entree with broccoli in it and somehow got only large chunks of stem. Egg roll was burnt and had a weird texture. Huge Panda Express enjoyer here, hopefully this was just a one off.

Came right before closing and they still made fresh food and the service was great. The place was extremely clean and the staff was attentive. I drive all the way from north jax just to eat at this location. Keep up the good work staff

The food was good, but the portions were so small. It must come out of their check for them to give you a regular size portion. I think I got about five pieces of chicken with my orange chicken. I was very disappointed in that everything was cooked. Well they were friendly for the most part. They came out with a new item but declined to give me a try of it. Usually they do samples so I thought that was weird but Hey, what can you say?

This was not a good experience at all ‘ I came to this Panda Express with my daughter this was my day off ‘ Considering I’m in the service industry I aim to please my customers’ Welll … this didn’t happen at this establishment’ I never ate in Panda Express so I was asking questions about the food ‘ I saw the tray that was labeled pepper chicken so I wanted to try it ‘ I already ordered a hot pepper chicken bowl ‘ I told the clerk Ashley to fix me a side of that ‘ She me mentioned it had to be special order mean while my daughter told me She doesn’t have time to wait because we had to get the kids ‘ This lady Ashley raised her voice at me and said’ Mam do you want it or not ? I was flabbergasted at her tone! No customer service was rendered’ I politely said Asley you need calm down’ I am a believer I don’t know what she had been thru before I came in ‘ Then she says to me ‘ No You Calm down and Your weird’ my daughter came over to me and says moma let’s just go she not worth the argument’ I told my daughter I will never come to this establishment again! NEVER EVER! I’m much older than her and she has No Respect for her piers the Whole restaurant turned and looked at me ‘ I just paid for my food and left ! This was a unexplainable incident. The devil is real and causes confusion’ Again don’t know this lil black lady but she needs to go home and unwind. Troubling moment that costed this place a continued customer. Horrible service!
