This restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is clean and modern; it appears to be recently renovated. You can see the food prep area from the dining room and it was clean and orderly on my visit.
The seating is comfortable and in good condition. It’s easy to have a conversation with your friends or family over the ambient sounds of the restaurant.
The service was fast and the food was delicious! The tomatoes and onions in the burrito tasted noticeably fresh.
I recommend this restaurant for some quick and delicious Mexican food!

Delicious Fresh Food, not too pricey. The quesadillas are so good and the bowls. Way fresher than other places. And the breakfast burritos are a must try too. The guacamole has so much flavor

Quite honestly the best breakfast tacos I’ve found in the bay…that remind me of the ones in Texas. Something so simple, yet so good. Came here for a pit stop and decided to grab some breakfast tacos since they had a whole menu for it. Hot, delicious ratios of big chunky potato and griddled scrambled eggs. Got 1 Spam and 1 bacon and they gave a container of red salsa for each of them. Loved the Spam offering! Something you definitely don’t see often. Very quaint gem of a pit stop in MoHill before braving the travels.

I’m a vegetarian so there aren’t many options here. I ordered a veggie burrito and I asked for no rice. It was literally just plain beans wrapped in a tortilla. Absolutely no flavor and they didn’t even put cheese in here.
The girl working behind the counter is rude as well.

Was I’m Morgan Hill today visiting a friend……. After I left I was feeling like some good Mexican food so I broke out the ol phone and did me a Yelp search. As usual a ton of Mexican restaurants popped up. As I scanned the places this one caught my eye, with a lot of reviews and a solid rating. I started looking at posted pictures and was blown away by what they have to offer and how delicious it looks.
As I walked in I noted that they have 2 seating areas with the cooking area in the middle. then I hit a wall!!! Of patrons that is. Seriously ever table was taken and there were what looked to me like 50 people in line!! “Well maybe not that many, but it’s my review and I can embellish it anyway I want laugh out loud” the line move quickly….. that is until I got to the front, I asked the nice lady a lot of questions trying to figure out what to order cuz, well it all looked so darn good. I ended up ordering a carnitas super burrito, a sope Alpastor and a fried “ filleted Fried fish taco” oh yay and a coke from da dispenser. The burrito with big chunks of meat, avocado cheese and sour cream to name just a few ingredients in it, was very good “I added 3 different home made salsa to it along with fresh lime and a hot bell type pepper to it. (From the condiment bar) now usually I like to try the salsas and end up finding one that I like, not so at this place. They were all hella GOOD! The Sope shell was thicker than what I’m used to eating but the Alpastor “with pineapple” OH MY GOSH, SOOOOO INCREDIBLY GOOD. The fish taco was also a pleasant surprise, I was expecting small pieces of fish, instead I got a real “big” piece of Fried filleted fish. Actually that alone was a meal in itself please see pictures. The flavor, like the rest of the food I ordered was very good.
Total cost of the meal was $22.56 including 2 sodas. “What?…. you didn’t think I ate that all by myself did you?”
My only complaint is because they were so busy, they could not bust the tables or Empty the full trash. So -1 on the stars, otherwise I would have definitely given them 5 stars. “This place is a gem and I hope they stay in business for many years to come. Peace out

They came out with new jalapeño burrito. The server told me he wasnt sure how spicy it would be. Makes sense why all the jalapeños were bunched together in my burrito. Seemed a little intentional. Do better Tortilla House.

If you like Mexican cuisine, The Tortilla House Taqueria at 226 Cochrane Plaza, Morgan Hill, CA 95037 is a must to stop at and enjoy the food. I absolutely love the wonderful carne asada tacos! The portion size is generous and at a fair price. The facilities are clean and bright. The artwork on the walls adds to the experience. The staff are friendly and efficient. There is frequently a line out of the front door of locals waiting to order, but the line generally moves quickly. If you haven’t eaten here, or don’t know about The Tortilla House in Morgan Hill California, it’s worth the trip to try it. I am glad that I did many years ago. They have consistently excellent tasting food. Definitely try the grilled and marinaded carne asada tacos!

Best breakfast burritos! I ordered the veggie breakfast burrito and it was cooked perfectly. They didn’t skimp on the veggies either! Huge burrito! And paird with the green salsa, it was delicious. All breakfast burritos come with Potato egg and cheese plus your choice of meat (chorizo, ham, bacon, Spam, steak) or veggies (bell peppers and zucchini). Very Filling! I’ve only ever tried their breakfast burritos. Next time I’ll try something else on the menu. FYI- breakfast burritos are served all day!!
