I live nearby and didn’t think too much about it when we walked in on a whim but I am definitely coming back! The service was very attentive, I felt like a little kid with the surprise of whipped cream and sprinkles on the Thai Tea and then getting cute drawings in sauce with the sushi. New favorite local spot for sure!

I unexpected had a couple of hours to kill in the Avondale neighborhood and stumbled upon this place around lunch time and decided to get some takeout to bring to the nearby park. The guy at the counter was super friendly! The menu is pretty big and I will certainly return to try more. I got the sushi lunch special which included two full rolls and a generous serving of miso soup. Not many sushi places spend a lot of effort on their vegan/vegetarian rolls so I was super delighted with the garden maki roll which had a delicious medley of roots, veggies and avocado. Service was quick and friendly. If it wasn’t such a nice day out, I would have sat comfortably at the counter and enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend!

The service was quiet and friendly, and the lunch special was delicious at a great rate. I would recommend anyone with a sushi itch go here for a scratch. I hope to come back soon for the other things on the menu.

My family absolutely loves to come here when they visit. The sushi is good, the menu is expansive and we always get to try something new. My parents like to bring my little brother so he can learn more about food since there are so many options, and he loves it for this.
The place was beautiful, as always, and *packed* with patrons while clearly getting lots of delivery orders and we stil got our two sushi orders and a to-go order for the next day very promptly given such a rush, and the sushi has cute sauce designs. Those dragons are so good for mixing sauces. Almost left without our takeaway, but a staff member came and fetched us from the sidewalk. Thank you so much for that! I wish I had a picture of the Thai iced tea glasses also because they are so pretty wow

Pretty good sushi. They have a deal with some percentage off on your first online order which is slick. There pad Thai slapped- would get again. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Good apps too- crab Rangoon and edamame.

The best sushi I have ever had. Servers were so sweet and attentive, place was super clean and relaxing. Absolute bang for your buck. We got two plates of sushi rolls, a plate of teriyaki chicken (that came with rice and miso soup), and crab rangoon all for only $43, and it was DELICIOUS! The food came out much quicker than expected, and they also drew super cute pictures with umami sauce next to the sushi rolls 🙂 everything about this experience was perfect

A very nice Asian restaurant. A small corner diner but still well done and nicely presented. About the only thing Americanized was the sodas. Be forewarned that all dishes are on the salty side … or at least the ones I had. Asian music. Everyone there was Asian. The waitress was very nice but her English could use some work. The food was delicious. If you order a noodle dish, it will come with an Asian spoon (flat bottom) and wood chop sticks that you have to break apart. If you need a fork, simply ask. Oddly meat dishes come with a fork. Odd as I always have an easier time picking up meat bits than slippery noodles with chop sticks. Anyway, give it a try. It is worth a try.

Best sushi spot in Avondale. The fish is always fresh and the portion size for the price is amazing. They are so friendly, service is fast, and they regularly have deals on appetizers. Everything I’ve had there is excellent!

My kids loved the miso soup and I loved my Pad Thai. Even though I picked up the order, I was still greeted kindly and also given water for my son and I. The kindness made the atmosphere so welcoming. I’ll be arranging a time to go dine in.
