Post Bakery has made our son’s birthday cake and our wedding cake and we LOVED them! Their flavors are wonderful, and the tasting we did with them was so fun and relaxed! Also, their coffee is wonderful and my husband got me a hilarious and fitting mug from them, too. I would even love to just go here to sit with my husband and have a coffee together. Love love love.

The pastries, staff, and service are excellent. This is also a great spot to host an event. Chef Janice created an adorable menu and place setting. Her staff was incredibly kind to my daughter and her friends, making bracelets and playing music/games. Lots of space with beautiful decor. I would highly recommend!

Posy Bakery is a great place to study/read while enjoying fresh pastry. They have free wifi and lots of sitting room. The staff were very nice and helped me pick out a lovely pastry. It’s very warm/hot in there, so if you are going to study, dress appropriately.

Janice is phenomenal! Our wedding cake was not only gorgeous, but it also tasted amazing! She went above and beyond by creating three different flavors for us, and every single one was a hit with our guests. The sugar flowers she made were absolutely flawless and added such an elegant touch to the cake. We’ve received so many compliments from friends and family—they haven’t stopped raving about it! Fantastic local bakery!
I was in need a last minute birthday cake (because I can’t ever seem to plan ahead,) and they made it happen with less than 24 hours of notice. Even though they weren’t given much lead time, you could tell they still put a ton of effort and detail into the cake. The decoration was beautiful and tasted amazing. They even let me do a non-standard flavor and give the cake a theme!

The blueberry lemon scones, olive oil cake, coffee cake and the chocolate chip cookies they were all freshly baked and were so delicious I highly recommend it! They are 10/10 it was worth the price! ❤️

First time here at Posey’s Bakery!! Super cute interior. Yes, it is pink, but light enough to not be overwhelming. Got 2 chocolate croissants and a raspberry bar. Both very delicious! Mochas were nice and hot. Very clean interior. Staff was very helpful and patient. Would definitely come here again and recommend.

My wife and I stopped in for our first time on 6/4/25. We were greeted by a friendly young lady who filled our order to take home.
The macarons were really good and rivaled some of the ones I have eaten from bakerys in NYC Little Italy.
The red velvet cupcakes were OK, the icing was nice but I found the cupcakes itself a little dry. However that’s not a deal breaker and I will try their cupcakes another time.
The space is clean and open. I look forward to sitting down on another occasion for a coffee and pastry.

Just as I began to cross the threshold into Posy, for the first time, with no particular expectations in mind. I walked through the door and was immediately greeted with a smile and treated like an old friend. Janice, the owner of Posy, graciously ran me through the store menu, in response to my audible indecisiveness, and recommended several options. Some popular and others tailored to my likes and dislikes.
The barista and cake baker/decorator, Autumn, was absolutely lovely and took the time to give me samples of the drink I had ordered to make sure it was to my taste (even with allll of my non-dairy milk selections and syrup add-ons lol).
I have to say haha. In direct correlation to their kindness—Not to mention the store’s calming and modern ambiance! So much natural light! It’s so spacious, spotlessly clean, yet homey?!?! and there were a scrumptious amount of outlets!—I ended up splurging and buying two sweet treats on top of my two drinks. The croissant au chocolat and pumpkin cheesecake muffin were divine! So yummy!
I ended my visit by conversing with another friendly store associate, Todd, who was very kind and recommended me several books in the store to read. As I informed him I enjoyed a good book.
I haven’t even mentioned Posey’s strong affiliation to local businesses, and artists that they proudly showcase throughout the store.
All in all, for me, the food was delicious, the service was incredible, and the cleanliness and comfortability of the lobby was great! This place is a 10/10. I am most definitely going to be returning as a repeat customer haha! Can’t wait to study here!

This bakery is the cutest and next best thing to happen to North Liberty!! It is so spacious and has cozy side seating or table seating. It would be great for events like bridal showers or baby showers!
