I can not recommend here enough, the staff is kind, experienced and so accommodating. The food is delicious and everything down to the naan is cooked to order. Whether you are new to indian cuisine or an experienced foodie you HAVE to try this spot!

I’m new to Indian food and I must say I have fallen in love. The staff is so kind and they happily helped me with recommendations for what to order. My food came out fresh and hot, just the way I like it. I ordered the Barosa Fried Rice/Noodles (medium spice) and it was PERFECT!! The spice sneaks up on you on the back end, but I loved it. I also ordered the Samosa appetizer, which is also delicious. Be careful with the Samosas because they are pretty spicy. The chutney and mint sauce that they are served with do help cool it down a bit, but still pretty spicy. Yum!! I’ll definitely be back for more.

I tried the Chilly Chicken, Goat Dum Biryani, and Double Ka Meeta. The taste was good, but the quantity felt less than usual. Double Ka Meeta didn’t seem fresh, like it was made a couple of days ago. Maybe it’s because we went close to closing time .I even called to confirm before going but still faced this. Also, it would be better if the desert was served after some time instead of right after the entree.

Excellent!!! I had the lamb vindaloo. It had a medium spice level and was delicious. (Next time I will get it much hotter. My fault. Not theirs.) I had never had garlic naan, before. Now I will seek it out every time. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. People need to know about this place!

One of the best Indian restaurants in the Milford area, and very close to authentic Indian flavors. I’ve ordered from Pura Barosa multiple times, including the Chicken 65 Biryani and Goat Rogan Josh, and the quality has remained consistently excellent every time. The food is really tasty, well-spiced, and satisfying.

The prices are also very reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants in the area, especially considering the portion size and quality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic and reliable Indian food!

We found this place tucked into the corner of a strip mall next to G Mart where we shopped often. And how we were so pleasantly surprised to have Pura Barosa in Milford. Amazing food, every dish we have ordered has been impeccably executed with passion and love. The dishes that come from the kitchen come out in a steady stream and make sure you order Naan or your favorite flavored naan early since they make it fresh to order and takes a while.

Also the best deal are their lunch specials but every Sunday (they might start doing Sat.) they have an affordable buffet with an amazing display or colorful and delicious dishes. There are plenty of vegetarian options and the goat and Charminar Chicken is a must order. A cilantro based chicken dish really opens the pallet and pairs well with any of their amazing Biriyanis, like the Goat Biriyani as aforementioned.

One thing we wished was that they would light up and make the store front of the restaurant more inviting. We are always guessing if they are open or not since the windows are quite tinted and the restaurant is tucked away in the corner and someone might gloss over this place if they were not looking. But if you do find this gem in Milford, start with the amazing buffet on Sundays, and then come back and order your favorite dishe(s).

Generous sized portions for the pricing. We have been several times and the staff has always been welcoming, and given us great suggestions for menu options. Food has great flavor and they are always willing to get feedback on spice level and flavor profiles. I’m surprised that it’s always quiet in the dining room but the take out business is booming. Definitely a favorite for us and we will continue to be repeat customers!

My husband and I stopped in during a road trip up to Maine and enjoyed what felt like a home-cooked meal from this wonderful local, family owned restaurant. The food was SO good and the service was lovely, attentive and kind. Also, it was so reasonably priced. Our whole dinner was just over $50 for so much delicious, quality food. Definitely recommend!!

Yesterday(04-18-2024) we ordered around 8 items which are cost of $115. The food was worst taste and getting a weird smell because of the oil they used. To report the manager about food we called and he spoken very disrespectful way and their customer service was very bad. We ordered for dinner around 10:30 before the closing so I think they just made it what they available at that time.
Items:
Garlic naan
Manchuria
Hyderabad chicken biryani
Hyderabad Goat biryani
Chicken 65
Chicken noodles
Mutter paneer
The only item tastes good is charminar chicken.
And the both biryanis which you mention Hyderabad biryani those are not, the Hyderabad style of doing biryanis are totally different, just to attract customers dont mention Hyderabad chicken biryani or goat biryani. The base you used for both biryanis are same just protein you changed.

Myself and my family had an amazing experience. We were the only table seated and had a personalised dinner. The host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and how the food was cooked. The restaurant is clean, well kept and was decorated cutely for Halloween / fall. The food was exceptional. We regularly eat Indian and this was the best my family has had. All our dishes were tasty, flavourful and delicious! The portion sizes are generous. We will be making this a regular on our family dining out nights. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. We will see you again next week!
