I used to manage 3 BK stores several years ago. I now drive a semi and stopped at Hucks for the night. Immediately saw the BK and Ordered online. Walked in at 1507. First thing I see is the hasbrowns strewn all over the floor behind the counter along with fries mashed into the grout. Obviously had not been swept or mopped all day long. As I was waiting for my order a gal comes around with a broom and dustpan. Literally does one’s sweep, leaving the hasbrowns and most of the trash and walks off. Manager (Ashley?) was standing right there watching her. I just kinda stood there appalled. As I’m waiting still, I see a kid come out from the back with parts from the hood over the charbroiler. He starts assembling it back together WITH THE BROILER ON! Do we not know how kitchen fires start?
Then another manager comes through the front door with. A male. He darts for the bathroom and she comes behind the counter and disappears. I get my order and start to head out and the smell of weed nearly knocks me over. It was seriously strong.

Went through the drive through with my family at night and was not only severely disappointed but angry. My step-dad whom has a bit of a hispanic accent, was speaking clearly and accommodated to her request of trying to speak clearer for the big woman at the window to understand. Not only was her approach insanely unfriendly but she added sighs and groans which was completely rude. When we received our food, all of it came out wrong. Everyone got small, cold fries probably in relation to our ethnicity. That MANAGER should not be in costumer service if she’s completely unapproachable. We ended up getting our money back, but it was so rude how the situation was delt with. Don’t waste your time at this highway Burger King. Especially if you have any pigment to your skin. All we wanted was warm, friendly service and warm food on our 14 hour trip back home.

Wow absolutely terrible. Cheese sticks were old and didn’t taste right. The chicken was old and so dry. The chicken looked more like a hamburger and tasted worse than it looks. Do NOT go to the Burger King in Salem

Went thru drive thru, spent almost $60 for 5 people, all sandwiches were missing the bacon and the cheese that I paid extra to have on them, the one was supposed to be plain, and was loaded with condiments, all fries and onion rings were cold. Very disappointing. And since they didn’t give me a receipt, were just out of luck. Will not be spending money there again.

We have started using there coupons and I couldn’t believe how much it saved. We get 2 Whoppers , 2 large fries and 2 large drinks for $14.09 with tax a savings of $8.38.
Staff is very friendly and the inside and outside are well keep up.
Would highly recommended this Salem, Illinois restaurant.

I visited this location at around 9:00 p.m. tonight. I originally only ordered an 8-piece cheesy tot they were hot and delicious. I ended up going back through the drive-thru and ordering two classic chicken wraps and another order of the cheesy tots. During both visits my cashier David was very polite, courteous and patient as it took me a few minutes to decide what I wanted to get. After I made my orders and paid for my food we had a light conversation during both visits before he asked me to pull forward so that they could finish my order. I do very much appreciate the customer service that David provided, in my opinion it was the best part of tonight’s experience. On the other hand my classic chicken wraps were a bit underwhelming. The classic chicken wraps are $3 a piece and are surprisingly small for the price paid. They were also not quite as good as the cheesy tots which were hot and crispy and worth the nearly $3 they were priced at. The store from what I could see inside and out was clean and well taken care of.

Terrible service!! The staff are very rude. Also they are the slowest restaurant in town. I thought Hardee’s was bad. These people are ridiculous you have to wait 10 minutes in front of the speaker just to order then they pull you for another 10-15 minutes. It don’t matter what you order.

I come here quite a bit, and I’ve never really had a bad experience with my food. Sometimes service can be a bit slow, but my food has been always made right. I’m not really a fan of the fries here, I wish they had cheese sauce, so I usually get the cheese sticks with marinara instead of fries. I like the whoppers, the chicken wraps, and the fiery royal crispy chicken. I usually order from the app, they have great rewards.

The girl working drive at 8:50pm on 2/28/2025 was so rude. My husband told her our order and she had it right then asked if he wanted one or 2 of his orders. He told her one and she waited and repeated herself and he said it again and she got really rude. He told her the drink and she asked what he wanted to drink AGAIN. I understand wanting to get the order right but this female was so rude for absolutely no reason what so ever. Poor customer service. We drove off because she was so horrible. Her attitude was so poor. Don’t want to eat after that encounter. Absolutely disgusting.
