In from our of town. The ice cream was good however the restaurant was filthy. The floors seemed as if they had not been mopped in weeks. The staff was very busy with their own conversations so the waif for all four of us in the restaurant was long all things considered.

I wish I could give zero stars but their only saving grace was they gave me a refund. Story time – I ordered a large sheet cake and a 8” strawberry cheesecake cake for my boyfriends party on Saturday. The 8” cake was supposed to be a special surprise for him since it’s his favorite blizzard, and then the large regular sheet cake for the guests. I ordered the cake four days ahead of time to give plenty of time for the order. I confirmed my order several times when it was placed. Cut to the day to pick up the cakes- they were clearly made last minute and they were completely wrong. They switched the cakes! So they made a large strawberry sheet cake and regular 8”. Add insult to injury the blizzard cake wasn’t made right, no cheesecake pieces, no strawberry drizzle, and had the chocolate crunch layer. We accepted the cake because we had a reservation to make and needed cake. Then one of my guests found a HAIR in the cake.

The service is always respectful and kind, trying to go as quickly as they can. The ice cream is somewhat melted when I ordered our blizzards. The atmosphere is atrocious and not clean – the floor is sticky and the bathrooms are unacceptable.

Floor from door to counteract sticky. Waited 10 mins before the kid at the drive thru covered down on no cashier up front. Manger. Can back from smoke break yelled at kid for cover down. Then she belittled kids in back for cleaning and playing music. I defended drive thur kid for coving down in turn she skipped out on hot fudge and topping on sundaes. I would hate being a. Employee under her.

I ordered a 10 inch cookie dough blizzard cake for my grandson’s birthday on Monday to be picked up on Wednesday afternoon, when I ordered the person taking the order specifically said let me check with the cake person to be sure it can be ready, which she confirmed it could. On Wednesday I started calling DQ to confirm my order at 11 am, did not get thru to someone until 130 pm and was told…”Oh I meant to call you… we are out of cookie dough blizzard so I can’t make the cake”…..”I meant to call, three times she said it, as if that was going to absolve her for not calling. Seriously the order was placed and the writing on the cake was Happy Birthday….meaning it was time sensitive. She ultimately told me I could have a cake ready by 4 if I chose one of the other available flavors, which I did.

extremely underwhelming location; the gentleman who took our order was both rude at the box as well as at the window. They’re blaring their music of their own inside the location. The wait was almost 30 minutes despite only being 2 cars ahead of ours.

Waited in the drive through for 25 mins, no other cars. My first mistake. Waited at the window some more while the workers had a full on conversation about nothing to do with the place. She handed me our half melted ice cream that had melted down the sides of the container. When asked for her to clean it off and give me napkins she acted as if it was an inconvenience.

Prices have skyrocketed. We ordered 2 chicken meal 3 small blizzards. It was $44.90. Then the next day we went to Olive Garden the next night and ordered pasta salad and bread strips. Beverages were $2.79. My ticket was $37 With tip we came in at $45.10. Come on Dairy queen did you forget you are a fast food place. A few yrs ago I paid right under $5 for a blizzard for a large one. This price increase is crazy.

Oof..so im incredibly kind in giving this rating. I would say you need to be prepared as a customer to have your order known, and get ready to state your case. Almost everytime i come here its the same issue.
