I don’t give 5-star reviews lightly, but this one is well-earned. I ate here for lunch today with my husband and my 5-year-old son. Our server was sweet and helpful and everything we ate was delicious. My husband had the Chicken Thali Lunch Special and we were nervous that it would be ALL chicken dishes but that was not the case. There were chicken dishes prepared in different styles/sauces, as well as a chana, daal, roti, naan, and even gulab jamun! I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala with spinach pakora and added naan and it was HANDS DOWN the best Paneer Tilkka Masala I’ve ever had. It had so much flavor depth! Well-seasoned, and had a special something in the gravy that truly made it special. THEN I tried the Chef’s Signature Shahi Tukda for dessert. Fantastic. It was both luxurious and deeply comforting at the same time. We will definitely be returning! One thing to note is that the food takes a bit longer to come out compared to other restaurants, but the TASTE and QUALITY of these dishes made the wait 100% worth it. And the prices were very reasonable.

Black Salt has amazing quality and flavors. Every dish we got was delicious. Often, Indian restaurants serve smaller portions – not Black Salt! The appetizers were generous portions and the curry dishes were double the size of other restaurants – love bringing home tastiness for leftovers. The cocktails were excellent, the Masala Chai fantastic, and the mango lassi was the best we’ve ever had (heavy on cardamom spices and garnished with mint – so tasty).
The service was great. Very attentive, refilling water often, regularly checking on the table to see if additional items were desired. The servers happily gave perfect recommendations.
The atmosphere was really pretty and clean. The chandeliers were super cool! And the art on the walls were fun to look at.
We’ll gladly drive the 45 min to visit again and recommend this spot to anyone who wants a tasty meal and fantastic services!

I want to describe this comfy Indian restaurant as boutique Indian fusion. We walked in Thursday night without reservation to find this place busy but were accommodated with a table. What was also good to see – couples were dressed up a bit which added to the vibe.
We love Indian food but to enjoy it, I had to order it mild. Chef special chicken curry was full of flavor. My wife enjoyed fish curry. With glass of wine it was perfect venue for Thursday date.
Place is good for smaller groups. Plenty of free parking.

I really like the feel of this restaurant. It is located around a ton of other restaurants, but it really stuck out to me because of the aesthetic. I got the butter chicken and also the samosas. I really enjoyed the Samosa. It has such great flavor and I wish the order came with More. For some reason, I did not really enjoy the flavor of the butter chicken. I believe this could’ve just been me. The people in my party enjoyed their meals. I will be back here to try out some other options because they have so many options, which is another thing that I like. The service was also great And it didn’t take too long to get our food.

MUST VISIT !!!! If if I lived in St Louis this would have been my favourite spot !! Amazing !!!! I rarely give 5/5 review ! But the quality of foood was above and beyond ! Spices were perfect on point , freshly cooked, paneer and chicken were cooked perfectly ! Chicken was super tender and juicy ! Spices of all dishes were accurate – felt like I’m eating home cooked food ! We had chicken Barra kabab , Karahi paneer , chicken biryani and saffron chicken almond soup
Drinks – we had mango lassi it felt fresh not batch cooked ! And I had lime soda ( one of the best I’ve ever had )

I stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night. There were a few people there and take out orders being picked up. I tried the lime soda which was very refreshing. I ordered the smashed samosa, butter chicken and plain Naan bread. The butter chicken sauce was sooo yummy. I like the smashed samosa but it was alot. The service was great and quick.

Wonderful food- my wife and I split the mango palak chaat, black salt signature katlama naan, and lahori murgh, and it was all fantastic. The mango palak chaat is as unique an appetizer as you will find, and it was absolutely delicious. The naan was great, and the lahori murgh was perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing about this meal! And the staff was very helpful in recommendations and extremely polite.

We ordered paneer curry last week and we were shocked seeing paneer pieces exactly 4 pieces in entire gravy and charged around 20$
Very greedy and ethical less business practice of this kind of behaviour for serving food even after charging that high prices.
Whole curry was only gravy.
Naan also not cooked properly, its saggy and like raw flour piece.
Never recommend this place at all if you want to get good quality.
