Reviews
We started with the prawn fresh rolls, which were exactly as expected: fresh, light, and neatly prepared. The peanut sauce is worth calling out on its own, very good, creamy, and definitely on the spicy side.
For entrées, the Cashew Nut Lovers with fried tofu delivered bold flavors and crisp, fresh vegetables, but the portion felt small and the dish was surprisingly light on cashews.
The Orange Chicken was outstanding, with balanced flavors and the thoughtful touch of fresh orange slices that really brightened the dish.
Customer service throughout the meal was outstanding, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, and the moderate pricing makes this a comfortable, reliable choice for Thai food in Kirkland.
As a side note, the music is a very nice touch!
I noticed a review that gave this cafe One Star because of the music…..that’s a head scratcher. The food is excellent and the staff is amazing!
I ordered the Phrik Khing and it was excellent. Perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. Probably some of the best Phrik Khing in the area to be honest.
The service was fast, almost no wait time for my food. Probably because I was the only one in the restaurant
I don’t know why some reviews are giving 1 star for the music. It sounds nice and relaxing.
If you are having trouble deciding where to eat, then just eat here. I don’t think you’ll regret it I’ll definitely be coming back.
They have quick service and i would highly recommend a pick up here coz of speed plus the parking is tricky in peak hours.
The Thai food was actually pretty tasty, but we did not feel welcomed at all.
My friend and I are in town working a major tour and wanted something quick before heading back to work. We arrived at 8:40pm — they close at 9:30 — so we didn’t think a simple fried rice order would be an issue. A man told us it was “late for dine-in” but that he would seat us anyway, which we appreciated. The dining room wasn’t busy, so we sat down, ordered immediately, and didn’t ask for anything extra.
Once our food came out, no one checked on us again. We had to get up to the counter to ask for our check, boxes, and bags. While my friend was paying, another customer walked in to ask how long his order would take. The woman at the register responded with, “You can cancel the order if you want,” which shocked everyone. He calmly said, “You don’t have to be so rude,” and even my friend mentioned that his question wasn’t rude — it was something any customer would ask.
I work in the touring/live-event industry where teamwork and customer service really matter, so I understand when places are genuinely overwhelmed. But this wasn’t that — the attitude just felt unnecessary. The woman insisted he was rude, even though he simply asked for an estimate.
As we were leaving, my friend complimented the food and mentioned that the service could be better. Instead of acknowledging it, the woman raised her middle finger at us. We didn’t raise our voices or disrespect her at all — the gesture came out of nowhere. When I calmly said that wasn’t appropriate and we were only giving feedback, she dismissed us, blamed it on a “language barrier,” and told us not to come back.
Looking at other reviews afterward, it seems poor customer service here is a consistent pattern — so this wasn’t something we took out of context or misinterpreted. Our experience matched exactly what other customers have mentioned.
It’s disappointing because the kitchen clearly knows what they’re doing, and we genuinely enjoyed the food. But the customer service overshadowed everything. I hope management takes this seriously, because we would’ve happily supported this restaurant if the experience had been even a little welcoming.
Didn’t expect the second half from a restaurant. Not that I am going to order from here but, like the restaurant said, I’d be ordering from the many Thai restaurants nearby.
