I love the atmosphere in Island Kitchen Cuisine, you can tell a lot of thought went into every detail of the design and decor. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The food was perfect..we had curry chicken and jerk chicken dishes (meat was tender and full of flavor) comes with rice & peas, plantain and cabbage and carrots. We got roti on the side with brought it altogether. We’ll definitely be back.

I was craving a beef patty so I called to ask the what flavors they had in store. A gentleman answered, whom was nice. Based on his response, I decided to give them a try. I’m happy I did.the beef patties were 10/10. We tried the chicken and beef patty. The patties were meatie, not empty! I ordered oxtail, w/ rice & peas, cabbage and sweet plantains. That was $29. The oxtail was delicious, (they weren’t cheap) and so were their plantains. I needed more gravy on my rice, but overall, that dish was a 10/10. I would definitely go back.

Went in for a order I placed online and the guy at the front was just sitting there on his phone then he slowly got the order together last minute without acknowledging that they were out of most of the items I ordered then he proceeds to try and argue with me saying “how am I supposed to know it’s your order?” Then he tried to say something slick as I was walking out. Customer service is absolutely trash and that place deserves to be as empty as it always is. I’ll never spend another dime in that dump.

I called to see if they had beef patties. The guy who answered the phone was nice. He stated that they do have it in store. But once I got to the store I waited between 10-20 minutes just to order. It was a guy who cut me in line and they person at the counter didn’t asked was he next other anything. Patties was good but not hot, I had to reheat it up.

Super fresh and tasty dishes, we loved everything we had—Rasta pasta, bbq chicken, beef patties. You can tell that they really care about quality here. Extraordinarily nice staff too! Looking forward to going back.

My bf and I popped in on a whim after craving Jamaican food and we will definitely be back! We got beef patties, jerk chicken, and oxtails which both came with rice and peas, sweet plantain, and cabbage. Everything was insanely flavorful and tasted home cooked. The portions are huge so were able to enjoy leftovers the next day and it was somehow even better the next day! This is a hidden gem, we look forward to eating there again.
