Great, quick service. Food was very good, reasonably priced, and well presented. The place was busy when we went on a Friday at 6 PM. We were lucky to get seated immediately, but there was very limited seating. I’d recommend getting it take out if you want to go at that time (or going at a less busy time). Great little restaurant!

First timers, and it was pleasant all the way around: fantastic service, delicious food, and quaint location. Don’t sleep on the Enchiladas Rancheras; the carnitas were *chef’s kiss. We definitely plan to return.

What a pleasant surprise! So glad I decided to stop in and give this place a try after getting my hair cut next door. The staff are very friendly. The food is phenomenal! Super fresh, and super delicious! Stop in, try it out, you won’t regret it!

I ordered from Door Dash. In no way was Door Dash responsible for any of this negative review. We ordered Nachos last night but I mistakenly hit fajitas. After it was delivered, I realized my mistake and I turned around and reordered the correct thing of nachos. So after taxes and tips and everything those two orders came to around $50 which was my doing. When the correct order came, I opened the box & Immediately called Porton. The nachos looked old. They were COLD & looked it. I spoke with Victor & all he wanted to do was blame Door Dash & not himself. The fajitas were still nice and warm to the touch while the nachos were cold and I tried to tell him that. In no way would he take the blame for any of this. So I asked him knowing that I ordered from them a lot if he wanted to give me a gift card or risk losing my business. He stated he would call Door Dash for a refund to my card. Well he lied outright. They offered a $3 refund which was not good for me. I stated to Door Dash that Porton made 100 percent of their money & so did Door Dash & I’m the one that got screwed which he agreed so he ended up giving me a $15 credit. Needless to say, Porton has lost a valuable customer as we are there A LOT & I will tell all my friends & hopefully ppl will read this review & reconsider going elsewhere. I eat out a lot bc I work & am tired but I’m really tired of places like Porton screwing me royally. I just hope Victor remembers this conversation & his lies & decides it wasn’t worth losing what I thought was a valuable customer…..

Was looking for something new and wider selection, this menu was definitely filled with creative dishes, Street tacos were pretty good aside from the pork rind one being hard to eat, yet the authentic Mexican corn on the cob was delicious, as were our other plates. Small patio outdoor seating is nice, bathrooms clean. Waiter was incredibly helpful and attentive! Worth the trip if you’re in the area.

We got the veggie fajitas, which were really good! The service was great as well. It’s a small place, but seemed to do well enough. Lots of takeout orders. The bar seemed very limited, but I didn’t drink. There was wine, beer, and margaritas, along with a few other drinks listed. A great little neighborhood restaurant. Definitely recommend.

We popped into Porton for dinner the other night and had a good experience. The service was friendly and speedy. The Mexican street corn is a must and I ordered and steak enchilada and chicken tostada that were both amazing. I wasn’t overly impressed with my margarita because it kind of tasted like the mix and I would likely go for a beer if I went back. Tres leches cake was decent and HUGE.
