Great little local sub place. Lots of sandwiches to choose from. Service was great. Sub came out quick and toasted just as I asked.

My sub was huge! Fresh ingredients made it super delicious.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before walking into this restaurant. I work in downtown and was quickly grabbing a bite for lunch, sadly this was the only place open at the time. I ordered the half steak and cheese sub. It was so disappointing, there’s no point in describing it, these pictures say it all. I don’t mind spending on good food, but $10 for this one slab of meat sandwich was such not it, no drink or side included.

Quaint little store front restaurant, very clean, and fast, friendly service. I wasn’t exactly impressed with the food. I had a pizza sub, and there were very little topping on it, I felt like I was just eating sauce and bread. The cost was way too much for the quality and quantity of the sub.

Love this place for lunch especially during mild weather in the falls because you can enjoy food outside and get some sun.
Unless you are a bodybuilder, half sandwich is pretty good size for a meal. Other deli place you might need a full sandwich because they skim on the meat but not here. Every thing is good, quality meat, and now they also have soup. Perfect combo for lunch. I like this better than Groucho and Publix because of the environment and servings.

Exactly what you’d want out of a sandwich place, and then some. Absolutely perfect atmosphere, and fantastic service. I go in for one thing only—a pizza sub and a Jones-brand orange cream soda. They stock sodas most people only remember from childhood, while offering the only sandwiches I want to eat. Their recent expansion of hours was such a big thing my coworkers and I were discussing it off-and-on for hours after I brought it up. I highly, highly suggest the pizza subs from here. Also notable are the Italians, the Meatball, and the Cheeseburger. Outside of sandwich quality, it is a truly fantastic place to sit down and eat in. And again, I respect the soda selection. There is no other location in town that sells Jones soda at all, let alone one that sells Grape Nehi or Cheerwine, while also being willing to brew an entire fresh pot of coffee just for you. Picture: the Italian my mother got, next to the pizza sub I got. This is for real the only sandwich place I go to.

Stumbled upon this place while exploring the city and WOW! This was actually the highlight of our visit. This Italian sub was incredible. The pasta salad was delicious. I’d love to come back. Loved the outdoor seating.

We love this place. It’s been here for 40ish years, and is a Statesville Staple. Plenty of parking on the street or in the BoA lot next door.
It’s clean and cute inside. The building is deeper than it looks (bigger in the inside!) and has plenty of seating. They are super fast but everything is made to order, so you might have to wait.
Good sized menu, with just about every combo of sub & sandwich you can think of. Drinks are either bottle or fountain.
Everyone raves about their pasta salad and I have to agree. It is definitely the best I’ve had (that wasn’t my own). It’s so popular that you can find it here in ready to go portions, or at small, local shops that sell food.

Cute spot with good food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend the pasta salad. The chicken salad on toasted wheat berry was pretty good, but I’ll try something else next time 🙂

Bought a 2lb of pasta salad asked for a few more crackers because I bought such a big container and I was denied. The employees then began to bad mouth me and as a customer that is unacceptable. The manager was very respectful and took care of me well as far as the young staff members they are not good for customer service!
