Only the drive through was open no indoor seating. I ordered a tamale and a taco. It came with refried beans, salad, and like 4 chips. The refried beans were dry and just had shredded cheese on them. All the food had shredded cheese. The tamale was literally just a tortilla with ground beef and some kind of red sauce. Not like the red sauce that you would think. It was more thick and tasted like ketchup. I was not a fan. And I assumed that the salad that came with the order was going to be topping for the tamale but I was wrong it had some kind of French dressing on it. I was not a fan. All the chips came in the same box with the salad so they were all soggy with salad dressing. It was honestly one on the worst Mexican foods I have ever had. It tasted like some one just threw a bunch of ingredients together and hoped for the best. This was not authentic at all. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the staff was nice.

When I am back in town I try to come here at least once. Been coming here since mid 90s. Flavor seems slighlty different but still good quality as many years ago. This is one place if you haven’t been you must visit at least once. Than you will be back for more.

First time here….We got the nacho deluxe, sancho, tamales, burrito deluxe, & funnel fries.
All the food was ok. But it all tasted like something I make at home. The chips where a little stale :/ and the guy taking our order seemed like he was irritated when we asked him what was on things. Or what they where.
The inside was closed so we had to go to the drive up window. And ate outside. (No big deal. But it would have been nice to go in and order so we could hear and ask questions ♀️)
I might have giving more stars if the chips where better and the guy didn’t seem so irritated tbh.

Ok so my stop at Jolly Tamale was a good experience. Ordered a sancho and also an enchilada both of them were quite tasty. Pricing was very reasonable. It was a great place to stop for a quick meal. Additionally I decided to go ahead and try one of these Mexican apple pies. Basically it’s cinnamon crisps chips with melted cheddar cheese and also whipped cream sprinkle with Red Hots pretty good stuff.

We went through the drive thru. We each got a burrito deluxe, but they both were almost totally full of refried beans and not much else. We found maybe a teaspoon of beef in one burrito, but nothing in the other. That said, the man who served us at the window was very pleasant.

Only drive thru available, but got their famous Sanchos. They tasted like I remember them years ago. ( We have moved to Colorado and hadn’t
had these for about 7 yrs). Wish I knew exactly what their secret is (recipe for meat and the recipe for the sauce) Have tried to duplicate the flavor for years and can’t seem to get it right

Loved this place since I was a kid. There’s a little nostalgia when it comes to old location. Still great food!
