Service and food have improved. However the empanadas are serve cold. I suggest that you have a minimum of 3 or 4 empanadas per order so you can fry them when the order is placed. Empanadas frescas resulta en clientes felices

Never eaten Columbian food before, I was sooo thankful that a somewhat younger couple came in who are originally from Columbia, actually from a coffee growing family. We asked them their recommendations and it was amazing. It was a combination of chorizo, flank steak, plantains, a delicious large portion of pork belly, rice and an egg on top, it was incredible. It’s in the picture of the menu. We took a picture of it to remember the next time we’re in town. We also had a wonderful appetizer. We were able to split both plates and were stuffed. It was an amazing experience. Or couple we met said that the wall that was there that apparently was recently made truly looks just like the outside of a home looks like. You can see it in the picture of my love and I that they took for us. Our sweet waitress and possibly many of the staff didn’t seem to know English to well but the descriptions on the menu were of great help, along with a dear couple who truly knew. I can’t recommend Café de Columbia highly enough. We’ve got another concert in a few months and that’s the first thing my fiance said, well you know where we’re eating

Wonderful restaurant to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner in downtown Reading. They have some of the most savory Lomo Salteado that I’ve had (including in Peru). The owner and her staff are very warm and welcoming. I will definitely be visiting again!

As you can see there are a few photos because I have already been there like three times with my family. They serve you a lot of food for a reasonable price. The owner is friendly. The place is clean and feels cozy, no noise. Tip: go with an empty stomache!

Propaganda can be effective until you arrive at this place. Customer service socks depending of clients’ appearance. This morning, i stopped by quick to get coffee with my cousin who stopped by from NJ and wants us to get coffee before he kept driving. Besides their expensive prices, The cashier lady had the nastiest passive aggressive attitude. She couldn’t even tell us what the shakes they had available but she sent us to read the menu. She was very passionate about the size of our coffee even though my cuz told her “this size” pointing at a cup they had displayed. I asked for coffee with creamer and she did not add a drop of creamer to that coffee. She was not engaging or welcoming at all. Surprisingly, i noticed how a white lady professionally dressed came in to order a coffe and the cashier’s attitude was completely different towards this client.
It is a shame this people perpetuate this kind of behavior within their own community. I do NOT recommend this place.

Soooo nice! The grilled chicken breast and the coffee are awesome. We only asked for one chicken breast so yeah, but it was awesome. The potatoes and yucca also taste exquisite.
