Small local sandwich shop with simple good food. I got the breakfast in a cup with cut sausage links & it was really good. The ladies inside were very kind & welcoming.
Its been a while since I have been to or even seen a “cash only” business. I did not have any cash on me but figured I would at least look around, glad I did as they had an ATM inside. With only a $2 fee, wasnt a bad trade to be able to try a new place out.

Off the beaten path simple sandwich shop. Only your first visit will be confusing. Bring cash or use their ATM and it’s usually packed around noon with a bunch of hard working people that go all the time and know their system. Only outdoor seating.

First time eating here food was excellent! I had the Russ Does special with cheese!! Staff were friendly and food came out fast! The prices also are unbeatable! My food including drink was under $10! Nice to see fair prices in times like these!

Russ-Doe’s Sandwich Shop is always super fast, served with a smiling face and a “good morning” shared by all, you can tell the employees enjoy working there and that says a lot about a business. Not to mention the quality is always on point and at a really reasonable price- even with the costs with inflation, it doesn’t appear Russ-Does have increased their prices. I’ve had most of the menu, but by far my favorite is the club sandwich its awesome! Fresh carved turkey and ham yummy! I’ll definitely be a customer for many more years to come. Thank you everyone at Russ-Doe’s!!!

I drove from G-ville after seeing business highlighted on TV show. Staff was friendly, lots of local in/out. My wife and I ordered sandwiches and were very disappointed. Maybe there is a specific sandwich or menu item that we should have ordered as many people rave in their reviews. I like to support local restaurants and this sits in an industrial area and near the Jaguars stadium.

I came by on my lunch break at 12;30. The shop was very busy, but staff was super helpful in getting people in and out in an organized and timely manner! I ordered the Russ Doe Special. I also had a bag of chips and a soda, and it was all only $10! The sandwich was absolutely delicious. I was in and out in about 5 minutes after ordering. The whole experience was amazing and I will definitely be back regularly now. Amazing staff and amazing food

Great casual place to grab a sandwich. Open 6-1:30 M-F and cash only. Friendly local and very inexpensive. Try the camel rider, a Jacksonville staple. Rocking chairs on the porch or patio seating only, no inside seats.
