Lulu’s is a great little place to grab some great tasting burgers, they have $1 fountain drinks and fries come in a huge brown bag. The burgers are pretty pricy but taste great. The shakes are my favorite item on the menu, they have over 50 flavors of everything delicious and good tasting, from traditional fresh strawberry to unconventional flavors like peanut butter and blackberry; which tastes exactly like the sandwich!

Work brought me out to Cathlamet frequently for a while, and this was a great place to stop for lunch. Bag of fries is a FULL bag of fries! Also the kids meals were a hit with the family when we stopped by on the weekend. I wish they had indoor seating or at least covered seating on those cooler or rainy days, but maybe they’ll get that fixed someday. Burgers are fresh, juicy, and there’s no skimping on portions. The selection of shakes are amazing as well. Plenty of gravel parking lot space, however. It’s also situated that you can pull through with an rv/trailer and still park close by, if you happen to be towing something and want to stop.

I’m a very frequent customer to Lulu’s, left to my own devices I’d probably eat lunch there every day. At 6’2″ and 300lbs, it’s reasonable to say I have a bit of an appetite; but their #1 combo holds me over from lunch well into the dinner hour. To get a similar effect at McDonalds, it takes two Big Macs and a medium fries. Neither of which taste as good as Lulu’s burgers and fries, and costs around 5$ more than Lulu’s fare.
I also get treatment there that resonates with me as a customer. In very short order, everyone there learns the regular customer’s names, and when I call in my lunch order, they remember my usual order without me having to tell them.
All told, they’re a shining example of a small town business, and very reasonably priced for what comes in the bag.
