I was super excited walking through this cute downtown area. I love Starbucks coffee and love stopping at a coffee shop to work or take a chill pill. This was NOT the place to stop and work or chill.
It’s very kid friendly, which made it pretty loud and a little hectic. Had a more atmosphere of a McDonalds play area.
The staff is very young and friendly though.

Love being at this Starbucks because of the layout! The windows are great
BUT there are so many flies. I sat in one spot and fruit flies kept flying by me, then I moved to the window and even bigger flies. Management needs to hire a cleaning company.

I love Starbucks! Why can’t the Baristas put smiley faces on the cups anymore. It makes my day when they do that. It makes a person feel appreciated. Whoever thought of that move needs to reexamine it. #bringbacksmileyfaces

The parking around this place is iffy. One thing that is apparent are people who park on the handicapped spot, like this dude in the blue truck, who didn’t have a tag, and definitely wasn’t handicapped. People also park next to handicapped cars in the area designated for unloading wheelchairs. Seen an actual handicapped person unable to unload because of someone who blocked the entire area. Also saw a police car and a parking authority pass without taking any action. NOT GOOD! The staff at this Starbucks is very nice, and the drinks are AWAYS correct. Something I can’t say about the location by Mariano’s or down the road off York in Bensenville. If you don’t mind walking a little bit to get there, I highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at Starbucks this Easter morning. Taylor, Berto, Jill, Katie, Matt and Dan were all incredibly warm, cheerful, and welcoming—even so early in the day. Their positive energy and excellent service made my Easter morning feel a little more special. I truly appreciate the effort they put in to make every customer’s day brighter.

This is my second time coming here in 2 weeks and both my drinks were wrong. Gave me a latte with brown sugar in it don’t know why. The se ind time they gave me a hot chocolate instead of a mocha and of course you realize it’s wrong when you get to your destination and most of the time you have no time to deal with stupidity. This will be my last time coming here because drinks aren’t cheap and to get something you didn’t order even worse.

After attending a movie at the York theatre we went in to get our niece a small white hot chocolate. After waiting eight minutes for this very little hot chocolate they got it wrong by giving us a regular chocolate hot chocolate. When we went to the counter and explained that they made a mistake the woman behind the counter took the hot chocolate and stated she’d remake another one. When my family member stepped away from the counter the other female who was sweeping the floor reached over the counter and stated to The other female staff member shaking her head saying that my family member is the one who made the mistake and didn’t ask for white hot chocolate. Both females than laughed. One female went back to sleeping in the other female went back to correct in the orders from a person before me. I looked at my watch and my spouse who had witnessed the females also and said I think it’s time to go. My family member stated we can wait for the hot chocolate. As we patiently waited the customer before us came in with her 3 cups saying her order was wrong. We waited over nine minutes and still no hot chocolate. I then went to counter and asked where the little hot chocolate was and the staff member stated “she was busy making other drinks”. At this point of extreme frustration I asked for a refund for my family member. The Female walked right up to the register put in for the refund, stood there looking at me and my family member I said what are we supposed to do,put the card in she said yes and I said you could talk to us and tell us.I stated her customer service was very poor. I work in retail.
How can the service continuously be allowed! How do we get over a hump with a generation that just doesn’t have the skills to communicate and or deliver products successfully? Customer service is horrible at A LOT of these Starbucks as I travel all over The United States. My local Starbucks goes above and beyond for their customers.
Even though you have a great product you still need staff to deliver it. Something HAS to be done about customer service in all industries.
