I recently celebrated my son’s 23rd birthday at Muse and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was simply amazing—every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. An Unforgettable Boxing Day Dining Experience!
I visited Muse Brasserie in Bristol on Boxing Day, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. Having just returned from my Christmas break in Switzerland, I wanted somewhere special, and Muse truly exceeded every expectation.
From the moment I walked in, the ambiance felt magical – warm lighting, stunning décor, and a beautifully welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even more special. I was even welcomed with a complimentary South Indian–style lentil fritter that instantly took me back to familiar flavours from home.
I ordered the cheese soufflé, which was beautifully presented with fig chutney, salad, and rich melted cheese – you could really taste the effort and love put into the dish. The Violet French 97 cocktail was not only visually stunning but tasted amazing too.
However, the highlight of the evening was the Catch of the Day – stone bass. Infused with Indian spices and paired with semolina fritters, saffron mayo, salad, and a delicious Kerala-style moilee sauce, it perfectly blended French finesse with bold Indian flavours. Every bite was memorable!
The restaurant is incredibly picture-friendly, has a lovely tropical festive vibe, and the team truly go above and beyond (special thanks to the wonderful manager who even helped take my photos!).
If you’re in Bristol or visiting for a short break, I highly recommend dining here. The food is outstanding, the service is exceptional, and it’s absolutely worth every penny. I’ll definitely be back!

We had our little Christmas party at Muse in Bristol yesterday. I have to say it was one of the nicest Restaurants we’ve booked. Not only was the food delicious, cocktails from the barman were fabulous, staff at the restaurant were absolutely amazing. What an experience here in Bristol. The flowery trees ceiling display, the perfect setting for chairs, tables and cutlery display in colours. Sets the ambience perfect for dinner. The welcome and service to match all that comes also. Deepak the manager looked after us so well and in true sense nothing was a problem. for him. The starters , main meal and desserts so difffernt from this French/ Indian restaurant. Tasty but also almost a first time meal choice. Nothing like in Bristol.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! the venue and atmosphere is amazing, service was great! Very attentive but not overbearing. The food was A class, couldn’t fault anything, and for the quality of the dishes I’d say the prices are reasonable.

This place is awesome! Visited last weekend for dinner and enjoyed absolutely delicious food and impeccable service. The only reason I’ve marked the atmosphere as only 3 stars is that it’s very noisy (it was nearly full when I visited) and the lighting is too bright for my liking, it would be an intimate and romantic experience if these 2 things could be improved. Overall though, fantastic, and I do recommend you visit.
