Awesome, old place. Been around forever and they’re good at what they do. The chicken was delicious, as were the mashed potatoes and gravy. The cole slaw left something to be desired, but the roll was good and the tea was just right. The server was quick and sweet.

This is what I like to call a “hole in the wall”. They are typically my favorite places to dine. I ordered the chef dinner, which came with 3 pieces of chicken, two sides and a roll. The size of the chicken is what bothered me. The drumstick was inexcusable. The chicken was cooked quite decent, but lacked seasoning in the skin. I really liked the slaw. The friendliness of the staff is what won me over. I always appreciate friendly, kind, smiling faces.

Wait time for food was 30+ minutes. Workers talked very loudly across the restaurant to one another. They served “regulars” as a priority over everyone else in the restaurant. My order was incorrect for the main meal and the dessert order was also incorrect. Server blamed it on the kitchen, stating they cannot read when it was due to their negligence on the ticket.

I see it was my first time eating at this 51 year old establishment. I can see why the locals enjoy it and why law enforcement eats here. The service is good what’s my favorite. Prices are fair. The quality is great. The portions are abundant. And the staff was very friendly and attentive. What a great first experience!

Cool, retro place. The food was good, it wasn’t gourmet. But if you’re looking for that, it’s not for you. Priced right. My opinion is that white gravy is better than the homemade. Those were the options as they told them to me. Iced tea… Awesome! Cant wait to try lunch/ dinner next time.

This isn’t the first time this has happened, so it’s clearly an issue. Went to drive through and ordered a meal to go, I plan to eat it in my car. I have no utensils and no napkins in the bag. Am I suppose to drink the mashed potatoes? Use my fingers to pick up the cole slaw? Now I have to go to the nearest restaurant, ask for napkins and utensils. This is extremely inconvenient.
