As a thriller and romance author who spends a lot of time on the laptop, I like getting out to places with a lot of energy. The Pizza Port in Imperial Beach is an absolute powerhouse. I visited during a Chargers game, and the place was buzzing. Kids running around, laughter, and energy off the charts. That’s the same kind of energy I channel into my thriller books.
The food here is always spectacular. Pizza Port is arguably the best pizza in San Diego County. The beer selection is excellent, with plenty of options on tap and in cans.
I ordered my pizza for pickup, and it was ready the moment I arrived. It’s super convenient.
The staff are courteous and efficient, exactly what I’ve come to expect. This is a spot I return to time and again, and it never disappoints.

Pretty basic pizza; can be overpriced if you look at it for size to price ratio. They have beer too. Pizzas can be small. They do slices too but the slices available are whatever they make that is out. If you want a specific slice you’ll probably have to order a pizza pie

Really enjoyed a host of their beers, brewing style works for Mrs & I. Sampled some food & it was great. Dog-friendly patio but not inside areas. Will 100% go back when in area.

I love the ambiance at this location. Great customer service. Good vibes all around. Dine in customers appeared comfortable & at ease. Great place for Pizza & Beer. A variety of food items offered. Salads are appealing. Unfortunately, on the night of my visit, the salad I ordered was served but it was missing ingredients. I went up to the counter & brought it to their attention. They immediately owned up to the mishap. I was offered a substitute. I accepted a gift card in lieu of optional food item. Definitely going back because it was an enjoyable night out.

We go to Pizza Port often for the lunch special, it’s reasonably priced, you can customize 2 slices or one plus salad and even upgrade to a beer.
The staff is friendly, the crowd is chill and the food is yum!

Great pizza with lots of flavor and toppings as well as cheese. Loved the thin crust, and the only small complaint in would have is I wish the crust was a little crisper. I will not downgrade the place or product because of it. Just wish there was a little more crispy on the bottom.

We don’t drink, but they were so cool towards our large party. We got four pizzas and they were all very good. The crust is so light and fluffy. My girls loved that they had self serve ranch, and Dr. Pepper.

Easier to get into than other pizza port. Still nice friendly service and great food. Good hang out with friends and family. There were people who also came in after a long day at work or people who took their dog out for a walk and swinging in together for a pint. Nice selections of beers as always and the opportunity to take some home as well. Clean place definitely will be back

Review #2********** so disappointed , decided to try the tater tots and there was no presentation just plain tater tots thrown in a box no dipping sauce and this time the pizza was over done and dry, it looks nothing like other pizzas posted, there was no wow about my order tonight , and I wish I went somewhere else, hit and miss and for the price … Not so good this time.
